Not as good as made out to be
Product had good hold but is extremely thick and hard to get into hair. Have swapped this out for a product that's got a softer consistency and is much easier to run through my hair.

I bought American Crew Fiber for my boyfriend as he can be extremely picky about his choice of hair gels. I read the reviews and quite honestly I was a bit worried about my boyfriend pulling an 'it's alright' and forgetting it in a corner somewhere. But lo and behold, he LOVES it. Puts it in after every shower, and now hates going outside without it. It's non-greasy and matte, gives excellent hold without feeling like concrete when you touch the hair. Great for the über-sexy just-out-of-bed look.

Not only can you create fantastic texture in your chosen style, you create, great hold AND should you require to change or redo your style, the product on your hair allows you to do that without adding more product. i have two looks i use one is the fringe up and the other is down and till the side. this product can do both perfect i use a tiny amount for the side look and a bit more for the fringe up.after using redkin rough paste 12 which i did like but couldnt get the up style to work and it smelled a bit werid this fiber is just about as perfect as you will find.smells fresh not girly.highly recommend

This really is a brilliant product excellent for fine short hair. It really thickens the hair and sets within a minute. You dont need much of it so it lasts ages. Hair feels really thick and it washes out easily. Well worth it.

I have purchased this product for my husband twice in lookfantastic. Very nice texture and citric scent. Great hold, natural look, you need pretty small amount to make desired hairdo and it lasts all day.

Definately the best product I have found out there as you don't get that horrible shiny look when you use it, great hold and a great look, never fails me. And it comes at an affordable price too!
The Mutts Nutts
If you have very thick straight hair that just wont do what you tell it then this is the stuff for you. Can be very tough if you put it on dry hair, so I'd recommend putting it on towel dried hair (when it's almost but not quite dry). You can mould you hair into *any* style, adds great texture and hold and is the only thing I've ever found that works on my hair. I'd imagine it's great on finer hair types also, but certainly in less moderation. This is tough stuff! Washes out first go aswell unlike other products.

I just had my hair re-styled today and the stylist used this on my head.My hair's very awkward (always standing up/fluffy/etc.) but this allowed it to be shaped and styled just how I want it. To top it off, there's no shine, no greasey look or feel.
