great mattifying moisturizer
I bought this product based on the reviews, and like the previous customer I used it solely in replacement of a day cream for the whole summer. It has a herbal scent that I didn't like much at first, but the scent doesn't linger and at least it's natural. It's a fluid gel-like serum quickly absorbed and on my combination to oil skin it was plenty sufficient. The quantity is generous for a serum: 50ml - as opposed to the common 30ml. Aromatherapy Associates is a great brand and while it's a pricey, thanks to the great deals on Lookfantastic I can now afford it! I will definitely repurchase.

A wonderful moisturiser replacement
I have actually been using this Aromatherapy Associates Essential Skincare Mattifying Skin Serum instead of a moisturiser as my skin tends to be oily, and I can't get over the difference in my skin tone - everything looks brighter! My skin feels softer too. The smell is gorgeous as well - some might find it overpowering but I don't think it is. I love fresh, strong herbal scents in my beauty products. I would definitely buy this again.

Effective
This Aromatherapy Associates Essential Skincare Mattifying Skin Serum is great. It definitely does what its meant to do - mattify and keeps shine at bay. It has a lovely light texture. The smell can be a bit overpowering but it seems to diminish as the day progresses.
