Great product

It's expensive to buy but it goes a very long way, and really helps to keep your colour longer (I never really believed it would, but it really does!). Smells strongly of the Aveda "pur-fume", which I love.

A Great product for Coloured Hair that is also kind to your scalp

Finally I have found one of the few shampoos that does not give me spots in my scalp or around my hairline and definitely has improved my skin overall using a decent shampoo. There is a definite link between a decent shampoo and having better skin! Less spots! I have very thick hair, it gives just enough moisture without weighing it down or feeling greasy, is kind to my colour and is a real find. Lather in the hands before applying to the hair is the key. I can also recommend Aveda Colour Conserve Conditioner, another fab product that helps to keep the spots under control but do not use as much as you would as a normal conditioner as a little goes a long way.

Gorgeous hair!

I was a bit doubtful of this shampoo at first because I love the 'squeaky clean' feeling, but after conditioning and styling, my hair looked cleaner than ever and smelt wonderful. Will be buying a litre bottle.

I tried this shampoo and on the first wash, didn't like the fact that it didn't leave that 'squeaky clean' feel that I crave!!Only good thing is that any hair colouring you have will probably be less likely to fade!!Left my hair feeling fine, not much body and greasy the following day!!

Another great product from Aveda. Don't use too much, rinse properly, follow with colour conserve conditioner and FABULOUS hair, long lasting colour.

good all rounder

This shampoo is ok for daily use, but i have used all aveda shampoos and there are better ones. The smell is strong but that is because of the all natural ingredients so its good.

Nothing special

This shampoo made my colored hair really frizzy and full of tangles. Even though I always used it with the conditioner, I had a hard time brushing it out afterwards. Also, smells rather too strongly for my taste.

Does what it says on the tin!

After using this shampoo plus the conserve conditioner, I had a follow up hair appointment six weeks after having an Aveda hair colour and my hairdresser advised me not to have my usual cut and colour as my colours were still very vibrant. Would recommend to those whose colours tend to fade quickly
