Disappointing

You'd think when you're buying Aveda that the product will be perfect - that's the brand image and the feeling I've always had about Aveda products. So I had no qualms about buying this Aveda Mosscara Conditioning Formula - Black Forest. I feel mascaras are expensive so I was delighted with this. I got it and tried it and the problem is it has a slight 'oiliness' about it - it goes on OK, a little 'oily' but settles down. However, unfortunately it comes off on everything. I have 'panda eyes' by the afternoon and stains all over my pillow cases. It was also difficult to get off completely with eye make-up remover at night - hence the marks on the pillow. It's a shame.

Nice to use

Not clumpy or thick, glides on gives a nice natural blacker look to lashes. If you want false eye lash effect however its not for you.

Love this Aveda Mosscara Conditioning Formula - Black Forest. Been using it for over 4 years and it really improves the condition of my lashes.

This Aveda mascara is very good, so far it's a competitor for Lancome that I'm used to.

I have quite short lashes so I can't use mascaras with big bristles. This mascara goes on easily and lengthens lashes and is nice and glossy. I will buy this product again.

Very silky and conditioning, very natural looking and not clumpy. Wanted a product that gave me more coverage but am happy all the same.

Perfect

I found this perferct masscara 2 years ago and have been using ever since. I foud my lashes were getting thinner and weaker post pregnancy, however after using this product I definitely saw the imrovement. Plus it makes my lashes look naturally tinted and defined. Would definitely recommend.

Yes!

I have long, fine and fair lashes and most mascaras leave me looking like a clown. People think I'm wearing false eyelashes. This is very nice -- gives a bit of fullness without clumping, lashes don't stick together and it doesn't add length by piling on thick coats of goo at the tips. This gives a nice natural-looking lash definition. I've only had it a day so don't know yet if it remains clump-free over time but out of the box it's just perfect.

Runs

Gives lovely natural look, but runs and smudges way too easily. Not good for the price.
