I have used Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo (1000ml) for years, and I wouldn't use any other. It makes the grey in my hair silvery and shiny. A little goes a long way, making it last a long time. An excellent product, I can highly recommend it.

Best shampoo ever for silver/grey hair, leaves my hair in great condition and used inconjunction with the conditioner you really cannot go wrong. I have been using Aveda products for over 30 years, couldnt do without !!!

Delicious!

This shampoo smells just like cherry bake wells! The formula seemed moisturising and far gentler than most other purple shampoos I have used. I must say though, I do not believe it is that highly pigmented and thus does not tone quite as effectively as some others. There isn't much lather but I put that down the natural ingredients, so I'd recommend washing twice.

I purchased Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo (1000ml) because friends recommended it to me, and I have not been disappointed. It is a gentle yet thoroughly cleansing shampoo. I have dyed/ bleached coloured hair which is naturally curly/frizzy so this shampoo ticks all the boxes as far I am concerned. I absolutely love Aveda products so to me they can do no wrong, they do what they say and much, much more. I'm so glad I bought the litre size, great value.

This shampoo cannot be highly enough recommended. It gives a very good colour to my highlighted hair, which normally turns a bit yellow after a few washes but not with this shampoo. Don't be put off by the deep purple colour of the shampoo - it doesn't leave any residue on my hair. It's just perfect!

This Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo is the best shampoo on the market. It's gentle, so you can use everyday, which I do. I am turning grey, and the blue malva makes the grey silvery, which I love. I have used it for years, and will not use any other. The smell is beautiful and leaves your hair smelling wonderful. You only need a small amount, so it lasts simply ages. Excellent. Highly recommend.

Worth every penny

One of those products which you can't quite remember how you used to live without. I battled to keep my highlights looking fresh and vibrant especially a few weeks after. They always got that awful yellowy colour.But this shampoo works miracles, It definately 'lifts' the blond and keeps the lighter tones white. Excellent!

Blue Malva lifesaver

I've used cheaper blue shampoos but they always left my hair dry, however the Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo (1000ml) was quite the opposite. I have highlighted, bleached long wiry hair and this shampoo is fantastic. I've used it twice so far and it has definitely neutralised the brassy tones in my blonde hair and it looks nice and bright.

Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo is excellent for your hair, it is made with plant extracts. My husband uses it too for his silver locks and his hair stays beautifully shiny. It is also great for keeping yellow from blond hair too.

I have highlighted hair and was in need of a re-do. But after using this shampoo I can last for another week or two. I have very sensitive skin and this brand is always great, but this shampoo really lifts the highlights and makes the most of what you have. And isn't that what we all want??

Can't do without!

I have my hair highlighted about every 8 weeks, and although Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo is pricey, it definitely keeps my hair brighter. I also use it every day without any purple tint. It just seems to suit my hair type and I wouldn't be without it.

Having coloured my hair for many years, I was advised to try Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo (1000ml) by my daughter who had heard good things about it. I am very pleased that I listened to her, my naturally grey hair is brighter and the salt and pepper effect is becoming less noticeable with use. I will continue to use this shampoo.

I've bought the Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo (1000ml) for the first time, and it is a very nice shampoo. I have used several other products to help my highlighted hair to stay silvery and not become yellow. This is excellent and very soft for my sensitive scalp. Pity that this big bottle does not come with a dispenser, since the bottle is quite heavy. The product is the best I have tried so far and my hair is very shiny with it.

I bought this because I am unable to get my usual shampoo supplied by hairdresser and having tinted blonde hair thought this would be good - I am really not too pleased about the condition of my hair after using this shampoo leaving it very soft and unmanageable so can't really give it a high rating

Having been using Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo for many years, ever since the grey hairs have crept up on me. Keeps away the yellow-ness that can happen. Hair is always in good condition after using this shampoo.

In my opinion Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo is the best shampoo on the market for people with dyed blonde hair/blonde highlights. Removing brassy tones it brings out a really pure blonde colour and because it's pure plants there is no chemical damage to hair. A really gentle and effective product, I couldn't live without it.

I used Aveda Pure Plant Blue Malva Shampoo many years ago, and loved the effect on my scalp and hair. So it was with trepidation I decided to try it again, but I was not disappointed. This shampoo is wonderful, and if you divide the cost by four and then think what you would pay for a rubbish bottle of 250ml of a chemical based shampoo, it's excellent value. Amazing stuff. It really does brighten blonde, make silver shine, it's also usable by the rest of the family, even brunettes, just as a good no chemical shampoo. Totally recommended.

Lathers up too much initially but quickly dies down. Hair smells if not washed every day (unlike ordinary shampoo). Keeps colour good and tones down brassiness in coloured hair. Will use up the bottle, but would not use again.
