Description
This plant derived gel cleanser is a clear, gently foaming facial cleanser for normal to oily skin. Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser is enriched with Vitamin E to protect your skin from damaging free radicals.
Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser with nourishing qualities gently dissolves makeup and impurities. The coconut and sesame derived cleansing agents leave you confidently cleansed, as you let the camomile, lavender and rosemary soothe your skin.
It’s blend of 16 certified organic, essential oils will leave your skin with a refreshing aroma.
Directions of use:
- For optimal results use both in the morning and evening.
- Place small amount of gel onto your fingertips.
- Apply evenly over your face and throat.
- Massage with circular movements upward and outward.
- Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

Really nice!
The first thing that I noticed about this product is the smell: it's beautiful! It literally makes me feel like I'm relaxing in a spa somewhere! (then I open my eyes) I have combination skin and once I have woken up I find that my face needs a thorough cleanse to wash away any nasty oil that has built up during the night. The cleaner is fresh, clean, gentle and washes away and impurities and oil with ease! Two pumps on my hands, lather it up under the cold tap and massage onto my face! Hop in the shower, wash off and done! Nice clean skin with no nasty spots!

Gentle daily face wash
Love this face wash. It's the most gentle gel cleanser I have ever tried. Leaves skin clean but certainly not tight or dry. Pump dispenser gives exactly the right amount in one pump and my last bottle lasted nearly a year!!

This Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser has been a great cleanser so far! My skin has improved but it's a bit too soon to say for sure whether I'll stick with it, only had it a week. Feels good on the skin though, gets all my makeup off and not too drying! Smells gorgeous too!
Fantastic
This is my second bottle of the Aveda Purifying Gel Cleanser (150ml), I love how gentle it is. Even though it's for combination skin, it does not dry out my cheeks, which are quite dry. Cleanses my oily t-zone very well. I'm pretty amazed with how well it cleanses without stripping the dry areas of my skin. One bottle also lasts more than half a year at least, and I use it every night. Highly recommended!

A great cleanser, the skin feels really clean without feeling dry after using the product. The product has a nice herb scent.
Good but smells bad
I dont understand how the other reviews says it smells divine...I would rather says its smelling bad! Even my hubby said it smells terrible. I used this during winter and didnt dry my skin, but I would not buy this again. I previously had Ole Henrikson which I liked better but now I ordered Decleor to try that one.
value for money
I've tried several (Ole Henriksen, Nuxe, korres white tea) but keep coming back to this one. smells fresh and natural, lathers well, only a small amount needed, and cleanses thoroughly, yet is very mild. Only downside is the glassbottle is not so handy for travel and the last one I had broke when I dropped it in the shower. plastic would be more convenient, I would say :)

I bought it based on reviews, thank you lookfantastic for suggestion! AMAZING product...goes on soo silky and smooth, smells amazing and doesnt dry out my combination skin. The ingredients are so natural and good thing it doesnt contain alcahol so it is safe to use for make up remover!
Simply Wonderful
Amazing! Together with the Toning Mist, my oily skin has noted a considerable improvement in only 2 days... and smells fab too!
Dehydrating
I have mixed skin and use only powder on an everyday basis and no foundation. I think this gel is dehydrating and a bit too harsh. Perhaps good if you use foundation which needs more thorough cleaning.
