I had been using Pantene for the past 6 months or so and my regular hairdresser who hadn't seen me for a while was horrified at the state of my hair. I had terrible split ends (my split ends had split ends) and I was losing a lot of hair everyday. He recommended a treatment product (because apparently Pantene leaves buildup in your scalp) and to then use Aveda shampoo (he doesn't actually stock this in his salon) as it had no hair destroying chemicals. I love that my hair feels clean and light after using it and I really like the smell of it. A bit on the pricey side, which is why I've only given it 4* - but I would still buy it...

This shampoo smells lovely. It is very gentle, cleans the hair without stripping the oils from the scalp. It leaves hair soft and a little goes a long way.

i have been using this shampoo for years and i love it,the aroma is amazing,it might be more expensive then the £2 bottles of shampoo you can get in the supermarket, but you only need a small amount so it lasts ages and i think it actually works out cheaper.

Best shampoo ever

After my last bottle of this run out I had to use a drugstore shampoo while I was waiting for a new bottle to arrive, and this shampoo makes such a difference ... it makes my hair look clean, healthy and with more volume, and it's gentle enough to use daily. LOVE this product!

Amazing smell

I LOVELOVELOVE the smell of this stuff! Can't believe some of the reviews that said it smells awful. WHAT??? I don't have a sensitive scalp but use it because it feels good on my hair but mostly for me is how gorgeous my hair smells for days afterwards. Only downside is the packaging - doesn't look very pretty on display. Aveda, any chance of prettier bottles? :(

Shampure IS different - it is pure NATURAL product. I took my time to let this shamppo balance my hair PH and I can't use anything else. Brands sold in supermarkets can leave hair feeling "stripped out", Aveda never leaves this feeling, Everyone reading this, look at Aveda website, see that the company is EARTH FRIENDLY as well as producing products for people. I've used Aveda a long time as a hairdresser, my opinions are from my own experience of using Aveda.

I love this conditioner as its so perfect for my hair, which is fly away, dry at the ends with greasy roots, its gentle but very effective, I love it, plus it smells so fabulous.

The first time I tried this shampoo I thought it smelled too 'herby' for me. The second time I thought it was okay. The third time - BOY!!! I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO!!! and I've never changed my mind. I have expanded my Aveda shampoo range to include some others more suitable to my changing hair condition but have never ever left Aveda, nor would I. My supremely sensitive scalp just loves the whole range and my hair just behaves beautifully. Hairdressers ask me which range I use (silly really as I insist on taking my own shampoo to the hairdressers with me) and even they are impressed with the condition that Aveda products maintains on my hair. There is no build up, no need to detox,no need to even think about it. Just use it and love it. Go on, you know you wanna!!

Great for Sensitive Scalps

I love the fragrance and gentleness of this shampoo. It doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp at all, and leaves my hair with a really clean feeling and nice smell. Unfortunately, it doesn't get rid of my flakiness, but at least it doesn't make it any worse.

My hair loves it!

I have used Shampure for years now and recently ran out so, being a fan of Molton Brown's shower gels, I tried their shampoo. I now find my hair needs washed every day or it begins to feel dirty, whereas with Shampure I could leave it for maybe 3 days and it would still feel clean. Fewer tangles with Shampure too, and my hair just feels healthier using it.

I go to an Aveda salon to get my hair done and they recommended Shampure as I have really fine hair and its a very natural shampoo. I love the smell and its perfect as an everyday shampoo - I also use the conditioner too, which is about the only one that doesn't weigh my hair down - would highly recommend....

Shampure heaven

I have converted my family of 4 to just one shampoo with this product. It smells lovely and my daughter actually enjoys having her long fine hair washed. Ah bliss!

Have been using Aveda products for the past few years. Shampure makes my fine straight hair, thicker, shiney, more managable and feel like hair should, full of movement and body. The smell is fantastic too, well worth the money.

Great for sensitive scalps

I have a very sensitive scalp and this is the only shampoo that does not irritate it. Does not weigh down my fine hair either - I wouldn't use anything else!

Great for many, not for me

This is great as a neutral shampoo - it cleanses, nothing more, nothing less. I have to follow up with other products to get my hair to behave perfectly. Considering my problematic hair and my impatience, I will choose a shampoo that does more for my hair next time.

The one trusted shampoo I always return to - yummy scent (herbs & bitter orange - may not be appreciated by everyone...) - cleans your hair without being heavy or greasy (I have fine, dry hair with sensitive scalp) leaving it shiny, moisturised and the scent is still there after a few days... And no itchy scalp!! This shampoo may not be ideal for anyone, but I just love it.
