Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant leaves your skin noticeably smoother and brighter. Microfoliant accelerates skin cell renewal and balances uneven skin pigmentation.

It activates upon contact with water to accelerate skin cell renewal and balance uneven skin pigmentation with the help of Grapefruit, Liquorice, Bearberry and Aspergillus.

Your skin's melanin production is regulated by active ingredients derived form rice bran extract, whilst green tea, ginkgo and colloidal oatmeal calm inflammation leaving skin extraordinarily refreshed.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is fragrance free and is suitable for all skin conditions. Its extra gentle and therefore perfect for daily use and never makes your skin dry.

Directions for use:

Cleanse face and throat twice with your favourite Dermalogica cleanser
Dispense about half a teaspoon of powder into very wet hands and create a creamy paste by rubbing your hands together
Apply to your face in circular motions avoiding contact with your eyes
Massage gently for one minute and then rinse thoroughly

This product seems to brighten and smooth

This product seems to brighten and smooth the skin instantly. It's very gentle aswell so doesn't aggrevate sensitive skins. It doesn't exfoliate quite as deeply as the skin prep scrub, but it lasts much longer as a little goes a long way.

Perfect!!!

I had given up on exfoliants, as even the gentlest quality products were too harsh. But, THIS really makes my skin come to life, in the most gentle way. Makes my skin glow! But be certain to adjust the amount of massage to your skins needs - the one minute advice on the package is too much. Merely lightly stroking it on is sufficient for my skin. Strongly recommended!

I loved it!

I loved this product, its gentle and kind to the face, over a period of time you will find your skin glows, its not too abrasive, great if you have sensitive skin, you can use it daily, plus a little goes a long way.

Great for all skin types

Dry, sensitive, occasionally oily but always spot prone skin. I guess I wasn't lucky with my genes! Due to the varying nature of my skin it's difficult to find a product which will clear pores, moisturise and not irritate my skin all at once. This is where Dermalogica comes in. This is a beautifully gentle exfoliator, with extremely fine grains working to brighten and smooth out the skin. Its expensive but you get tons of the stuff and since you only need to use a tiny amount I reckon it should easily last a year or so. It's so rare that a face product truly agrees with my skin, especially an exfoliator, that I can't help but recommend this to anyone unhappy with their current skin regime

not so good for sensitive skin

I don't normally buy exfoliants as I have dry, sensitive skin but I bought this product based on all these great reviews and from friend's recommendations. Unfortunately I ended up having a reaction. On a few occasions, I ended up with areas of small lumps over some parts of my face. I do have incredibly sensitive skin so I tried reducing the amount you are supposed to use and only use it once a week but I would still react. I thought it best to submit this review as it didn't work for me and may be a good idea for those with super-sensitive skin to try the gentler version.

Not good for sensitive skin

Hello, I hate to rain on this fantastic parade but I felt it prudent to mention after reading these great reviews that I had a huge breakout after using this product. I have dark skin so the recovery from breakout took a while. Dermalogica did not quibble about refunding me however they seemed unconcerned that the product could cause such a reaction, this concerned me particularly since the product is specifically aimed at people with sensitive skin. Perhaps if your skin is sensitive you should do a patch test rather than putting it all over your face.

This product is just amazing!!! your skin becomes smooth and beautiful, and it really helps your skin become perfect. My skin is both oily and dry AND sensitive, and I used to had a lot of redness on my skin. That was gone after 3 days with using the daily microfoliant. GET SOME!!

An excellent product for those who don't have sensitive skin

I was very sceptical when I bought this product but can honestly say that it lives up to its claims. You don't need very much of it, and although it doesn't smell great (a mixture of fruits) it certainly does what it says. If your skin is marked as a result of Acne as mine was, it will remove the marks over time and brighten it up. However, looking at the ingredient list, I can imagine that it would be very harsh on sensitive skin so be careful with it, it's potent stuff.

A Hard to Please Reviewer

OK, but wouldn't bother again.

This is indeed a gentle product...if anything, too gentle. As the product is a powder, I've found that once it's mixed into a paste, it disintegrates and it's exfoliation potential is therefore limited. Not particularly cost effective either.

Fantastic

I have very difficult skin, similar to previous reviewer, sensitive and oily, this in conjunction with medicated clearing gel has shifted some really stubborn acne type spots on my chin but without irritating. I really recommend it.

What a change!

This product has evened out my skin tone and left my face really clean. The larger pores on my nose are starting to reduce after a week of using the scrub. What a difference!

Brilliant

I love this product. I have quite dry skin on my cheeks, chin and forehead, but quite oily around the sides of my nose and just below my lower lip. I often had dry flakey patchs on my cheeks and forehead and therefore avoided make-up as I found it only made them more obvious (boo hoo!) Any way, I have been using this day and night (along with Essential Cleansing Solution and Soothing Cream) and my skin looks and feels amazing!! Dampen face, dampen hands, pour a little of the powder on to hands, rub together and apply to face - easy!! Effective :)

Great, but can wear out your skin.

With sensitive, dry skin with the occasional spots I tried this microfoliant - and it gives you the softest skin. But after regulat use for 2-3 weeks my skin is all worn out and even drier than before I bgan using it. Perhaps if you don't have too dry skin it will work, otherwise I wouldn't recommend.

A must buy

I first bought this 2 years ago and noticed immediate results. It seemed to remove a layer of dullness from my skin, despite having regularly exfoliated for years. It may be a touch expensive but the tub lasts for ages. I used mine daily for a year!

This is great for my dry sensitive skin, however as I can be a bit heavy handed, this can be a tad messy!

Does what it says !!!!

This is a fantastic product and really deep cleans your skin. I wear make up all day - remove with make up remover, but as i have large open pores, the make up remains embedded. Thankfully this product removes all traces and leaves skin looking really clean and fresh. Unfortunately i ran out of the product within 2 months - go easy when pouring powder onto hand prior to mixing with water. On the upside, i hardly ever suffer from break outs on my chin anymore :-)

Best Exfoliator

I have been using this exfoliator for a year now and can hoestly say it is the best one I have tried. I have very sensitive skin but this is mild enough not to cause a reaction yet exfoliates my skin brilliantly and leaves it unbelieveably soft.

Try this.

I noticed the difference from the first use. Not harsh like grainy exfoliants are. Very good for dry, flaky skin, my husband uses this too, and thinks its brilliant. I don't use it daily as I have acne and find that it can aggravate spots adn increase the redness, so I use it on days when I feel my skin becoming flaky.

Truly worth an award!

I was sceptic about it because I have very oily skin, congested + large pores. I can use any scrub even the roughest one, which usually is recommended for the type of skin like mine. I couldn't understand how fine powder can make my skin clearer (when even rough scrub doesn't make it clearer for too long) and why everyone is so obsessed with this microfoliant?! Now I know why! It's really clears the skin surface (I wouldn't lie and say it clears it inside the pores - it doesn't go that deep) and it makes the pores smaller, it "polishes" the surface of the skin to a a very smooth and pleasant feeling + it brightens the skin - face skin looks so fresh and young afterwards! I use microfoliant when my skin appears dull and uneven. It's great to "refresh" your skin and your mood! And the bottle lats forever.

Soft and gentle!

I have dry and very sensitive skin and this product was just right. A lot of exfoliators are too rough and sting my skin but this was very gentle whilst still exfoliating and leaving my skin lovely and smooth.

Not easy to use & doesnt work

I don't know why everyone raves about this one. I love the dermalogica range but was very disappointed with this - its fiddly to use and if you don't use enough it doesn't work and if you use too much it leaves your skin tight & red. definitely not one i would recommend - i'm now stuck with a whole bottle of the stuff!

The BEST by FAR

I was getting spots at the age of 45. This product cleared them up straight away, with no allergic reaction nor dryness. The best exfoliator by far.

I truly recommend this, I have been having some adult breakouts because of stress and this has really helped dry all the pimples and brighten my complexion. And the best of all u can use it daily.

Not for me! Rosacea, avoid it!

I have skin that is usually spot free and really clear, but benefits from love and attention. I have suffered from Rosacea in the past. I no longer get break outs but get redness in the cheeks from time to time. This product made this worse. I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin and won't buy it again...shame. Pevonia Botanica is still best for Rosacea prone skin by miles.
