A weird one to get used to. It takes a while to sink in and seems to calm the skin, but I still had dry bits. Better for occasional use rather than a daily moisturiser.

No matter what products I used my makeup always seemed to disappear. Now after using this it looks freshly applied for hours. Wouldnt be without it.

I can't say enough about this product. I suffer from eczema and I sometimes get sore dry patches on my face. If you suffer like me you know that most soothing products sting, this however doesnÆt. It instantly sooths, reduces redness and no greasiness so your skin doesnÆt feel heavy, it also helps relieve itchiness. A great product to take travelling with you as well so save stressed skin. It you suffer from dry or oversensitive skin then by this product.

I like this product. It is kind of soothing, not heavy and gives a 'matt' style finsih. I would definitely recommend it to people who have dry, itchy and irritated skin, but I also think people with ultra dry skin need to try something else or use another moisturiser with it.

I found that this moisturiser was great for my sensitive skin and gave a lovely matt finish. However I found that my cheeks were left quite dry, and I supplement that with some of Dermalogica's skin smoothing cream for the perfect finish.

I have shockingly sensitive skin - dry, prone to breakouts, rashes even if I change fabric conditioner. Personally, I don't think Barrier Repair should be classed as a moisturiser - it should be in a class of it's own! I've been using it over the top of Dermalogica's Medicated Clearing Gel, and the difference to my skin has been dramatic. My skin is actually healing properly for the first time in years. Barrier Repair does what it says - it helps repair your skin. If your skin is dry, you may need another moisturiser too - I'm using Active Moist, and this combination of products is working fantastically for me. If you can, find a Dermalogica Therapist and blag some samples - it's expensive stuff, but when you get the right product it's fantastic.

I bought this before my skiing holiday. I usually get kind of leather skin after skiing for a week, which results in spot and brake-outs when I get back home. This time, with the barrier repair beneath my sunlotion, my skin just looked great and quite tanned despite SPF 30 all week long. Guess it'll be great for sailing this summer as well.

If I could have only one beauty product it would be this one. I discovered it by chance when I received a free sample. I then used it in a blizzard in New York and the weather just did not touch my skin. I've since used it on long haul flights and it ensures that my skin retains its moisture. It feels like velvet on the skin - I even use it around my eyes. It's just absolutely fantastic and I would never want to be without it. This was my introduction to Dermalogica and I will now not use another skin product range.

I have incredibly sensitive skin and have always struggled to find products that suit me. I quite often experience blotchy, uncomfortable, uneven skin. I have never found a product that worked instantly as this did! My skin immediately felt smoother and more comfortable and after a week I can honestly say that my skin was even and glowing. I was of course doing the healthy diet, lots of water, no alcohol, etc, at the same time but I'd never experienced a result like this before. It suited me to use a mixture of the barrier repair and my usual face cream.
