XEN-TAN DARK TANNING LOTION (236ML)

With rich moisturisers and premium ingredients the XEN-TAN Dark Tanning Lotion creates an exceptionally long-wearing and instant natural olive toned tan that doesn’t gather at the ankles or elbows and when it’s time, fades completely evenly.

It’s delicious fragrance sets XEN-TAN Dark Tanning Lotion apart from the characteristic chemical smell of other tanning products. With olive undertones there’s no chance of it turning you orange, and rich coconut and walnut oils result in a luxurious and beautiful tan that lasts twice as long. As you apply, the tinted lotion provides an instant colour guide to help give you an even, streak-less application.

Directions of use:

Apply a thin coat for a lighter tan.
One or two thicker applications will offer a darker olive tan.
Apply to clean, dry skin and wait for at least 3 hours before washing off.

Great tanning lotion!

This is far better than fake bake and every other fake tanning products i've tried..it gives you a dark colour, is streak-free and goes on easily. What more can you ask for?

Excellent

I normally use St Tropez and have used Fake Bake but this one is the best ive used - it actually can be rubbed in with ease which you cant do with the others that well so it makes for easy application for the feet and hands unlike the others. Doesnt have that "fake tan smell". Its great.

I loved this easy to apply lotion, it dries quickly & smells gorgeous, like almonds!The colour was dark and like I'd just stepped off a plane! On the downside after a few days it did go patchy so have a good tan remover or exfoliant handy!

Simply the best!

I am a natural redhead living in Spain, come summertime I'm surrounded by an abundance of naturally bronzed bodies & my alabaster limbs make me unbelieveably self conscious! I've been through just about every fake tan on the market & this is by far the best. Easy to apply, smells divine, dries quickly & the result is really natural. I apply it twice a week and with regular moisturising and exfoliation there is never a hint of patchiness. Would particularly recommend this tan for people with fair skin, cannot recommend this product highly enough!

SO EASY !!

This fake tan is so easy to apply and you know when you have got it all off your palms when washing your hands. Dries quickly. Great olive colour obtained. I usually apply 2/3 coats though !! 10/10.

so disappointed- patchiest tan ive ever used

i normally use fake bake but had to try this after all the rave reviews id read. when i first washed it off i was really pleased, the colour was lovely and darker than my usual tan. however, after just 2 days it started going really patchy and i mean really patchy, worse than cheap fake tans id used. it even rubbed off in a white line from the seatbelt on my car. after 4 days i looked terrible and had to scrub the lot off as i looked like id been sunbathing under a sieve! was really disappointed and would not recommend :(

Fantastic colour

This must be the best self tanning lotion ever! unfortunately I had trouble getting it of my hands after applying. Use gloves if you have dry hands!

Good Self Tanner But Smells As Bad As The Rest!

I was in a high street store trying to decide if I should switch from my usual Fake Bake when I was approached by a promotions girl for Xen Tan who convinced me to make the switch. One thing that encouraged me was it's almond smell, however I now know this fades only to be replaced by the usual ghastly pong of fake tan! I always used gloves for Fake Bake but found a tan mitt gives a better application with Xen Tan, along with a cotton pad for hands, feet, face neck and ears. Also, apply in a sweeping up and down motion, not the circular motion you should be using for Fake Bake. As with all fake tanners it's really important that you exfoliate your skin and moisturise well regularly otherwise you will get a patchy tan after a few days. And give your moisturiser a good half hour to sink in before applying the tan. This isn't as dark as Fake Bake after one application but that's why I like it. It gives my porcelain skin a really healthy glow rather than it appearing I've been sunning myself for a fortnight so I'd really recommend it for winter, Fake Bake for summer. Oh and the colour guide doesn't rub off on my sheets as bad as Fake Bake does which is always a bonus. Another plus, some fake tans get flash through in photo's. You know when you're sure you had a deep tan when you went out but you looked pale and pasty in the photo's? This is because the flash manages to pick up your true skin colour. Somehow you don't get this with Xen Tan. My big wish is that someone could invent a smell free fake tanner.

The best tanning product by far

I am always on the look out for great fake tanning products and must have tried everything on the market from Clarins, Fake Bake, St Tropez etc. Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion is the best tanning product by far. Used with a tanning mit after the obligatory exfoliating and moisturising of dry areas (elbows, knees) this gives a gorgeous streak free DARK tan that looks NATURAL even on my pale skin after just one application. I have used other products in this range including the intense spray and mouse and find the lotion the best of the bunch. It smells yummy too and dries very quickly. Perfect for looking bronzed and beautiful on the beach!

Fantastic tan

I usually have spray tans as my friend is a mobile tanner, but she was on holiday & I needed tanning for a wedding so I thought I would give Xen Tan a go! Fantastic product!! I purchased the Dark Tanning Lotion & Body Scrub in a package for about £30 incl P&P. The body scrub is to be used before tan application and then during each shower after (excluding 1st shower). It has a lovely refreshing minty smell and leaves skin very soft. The tan lotion is very dark brown when it comes out of the bottle but it gives such a lovely and natural brown tan, no signs of orange!! It smells like cherry bakewells and once dried does have a bit of a "fake" smell but nothing too heavy. Application is very easy - I use latex gloves, but with or without gloves the tan is very easy to apply evenly. I use cotton wool pads to apply to my feet and hands lightly. I also apply to my face which looks great. From my experience, for the best results apply 2 days before you need the tan - I needed it for a wedding on a Saturday, I applied Thursday evening and slept in it, then had a light shower Friday morning. Friday evening I touched up any spots I had missed and by Saturday it was PERFECT! Haven't yet to notice any staining on clothing or bedding. Lasts about a week to ten days and I always receive compliments. Worth every penny!!!

Really really nice!

I used to be a die hard St. Tropez fan but I think this is much better! It is really easy to apply and has a pleasant smell and gives a gorgeous TAN colour....just like I had been on holiday!! Not a hint of orange! It doesn't clog my pores like some fake tans I have used either. Love it!
