We love a bold lip and now we're moving into Autumn, there is only one choice; the burgundy lip. It was all over the catwalks for Autumn-Winter 16 and this is a trend we can really get behind; whether you go subtle and juicy for the day or deep and bold for a special night.
How to Wear a Burgundy Lip
A deep, dark lip can seem intimidating but it doesn't need to be. There are a few things you can think about to make it easy to incorporate into your look.
- The Tone. For a more modern, bold look, head for more rich, brown tones. For a softer look, juicier berries are the best choice.
- The Opacity. If you prefer a 'just-bitten' look, try out sheer formulas, stains and glosses, but for full impact, go for full coverage, highly pigmented formulas like liquid lipsticks.
- The Finish. A glossy lip can look fresh and is amazing paired with really dewy skin. For a sleek and modern look, go for mattes.
