Stuck for things to do this weekend? Well, with the Bank Holiday coming up and 1 extra day in your week to spend doing something you love, it's the perfect time to get planning. We are hoping that the sun comes out and the weather is simply beautiful, because let's face it, everything is much more fun when it's light and bright. Don't worry though if we get the typical British weather, Lookfantastic has both indoor and outdoor activities covered.

Ideas For Days Out (and in!)

Enjoy A Delicious Brunch

This is simply one of the best weekend activities to do. Brunch itself is a great time to meet some friends and catch up over some coffee and delicious food. More and more places are popping up offering unique and healthy food, such as smashed avocado on toast with a delicious smoothie to accompany. If however you're more of a pancake and lashings of syrup kind of girl, don't worry, they offer all of that and more too. If you're in Manchester, check out Moose Coffee, which serves the most incredibly delicious brunch we have ever tasted. However, if you're in London this weekend, then make sure to check out The Telegraph's Guide to the best brunch places.

Brunch is a relaxed get-together, so don't go over the top on your makeup. We love the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Gel, which makes us glow, just like all those healthy smoothies.

Get Some Fresh Air

This one might sound obvious, but going for a walk is not only amazing for the body, but also has some beautiful views (weather permitting of course.) Getting some fresh air can help clear your head, energise your body and make you feel happy and relaxed. Plus eating that brownie won't make you feel as guilty when you get back.

Make sure you stay as fresh as a daisy on your walk with the Vichy Deodorant 48hr for Sensitive Skin. It'll keep you smelling beautiful without irritating or drying out your skin.

Celebrate With A Barbecue

National Barbecue Week begins on the 30th May, but why not start early? We need no better reason to light up the fire and get some delicious food on the go other than the sunshine! Get some friends round, and enjoy a Spring evening. We absolutely love these Country-Style Glasses from IWoot to add some fun into your barbecue!

Head To The Beach

Britain has some amazing beaches that you can go and visit this Bank Holiday Weekend. Make a day of it, pack a picnic, take some friends and family and have a great day. Some of the most beautiful beaches include Botany Bay in Kent, Broadsands Beach in Devon and Watergate Bay in Cornwall. However, if you're not near any of these places this weekend, then check out the National Trust's Guide to the Best Beaches around the U.K.

Take a lightweight scarf with you such as this Paul Smith one from Coggles. The British Beaches can be slightly blustery!

Have A Film Day

If the weather outside is awful, then grab some blankets, a hot cup of tea and snuggle down with a nice film. If you are in the mood for a great girly film, then new release Sisters will tick all the boxes.

Bake some cookies, read a book, have a bath, paint your nails and just have some you time. If you're stressed or feeling anxious, taking some time for yourself can help you to balance your mindset and boost your mood. For more tips on how to de-stress and feel yourself again, read our interview with Nicola Elliott, founder of Neom Organics and Queen of Relaxation.

Whatever you choose to do this Bank Holiday Weekend, make the most of it and have a great time. Share your pictures with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!
