Look Book – New Year’s Eve

The biggest night of the year, a chance to celebrate everything you’ve achieved from the last 365 days, plus the time to look forward to what you want to achieve in the new year.

New Year’s Eve make up needs to hold a strong statement, carrying you from one year to the next with a style that makes you shine.

For this we’ve fallen on a classic that we love at Lookfantastica retro red lip with glamorous false lashes.

1. Flawless Complexion – Apply a layer of foundation and powder to your face, keeping colour to a minimum as your lips will become the main attraction for tonight.

2. Defining your eyes – Using Jane Iredale Liquid Eyeliner in Black, apply a sleek line along your lid line. Creating a small flick at the end to really open up your eyes.

3. Applying the glamour – Add some definable drama with a set of false lashes, using Eylure Naturalite lashes in Intense, apply along your lid line and ensure they are placed to open up the shape of your eye.

4. The Main Attraction – Although your eyes with have heads turning, it’s your lip shade that will really have people talking. With red lips its key to apply a lip liner of your chosen shade. This prevents colour from bleeding into your skin whilst defining your lips, try New Cid I-Define Lip liner in Rosie.

For the main colour, use Natio Lip Colour in Playful, a rich silky red hue that leaves you with a glossy but highly pigmented red lip. Blot with tissue to prevent colour smudging
