Hey there! My name is Katie and I blog over at, http://katielovess.blogspot.co.uk/. I’m thrilled to have been chosen as Lookfantastic.com’s Blogger of the Month, so if this sounds like something you’d read, then definitely come over and take a look!
I’m here on the Look Fantastic blog this month to discuss my ‘Skincare Autumn Buys!’. Even though the weather in England may be very unreliable at the best of times, we are in fact drawing nearer to the colder months of the year. With that comes along colder evenings, onesies and snuggling up with hot chocolates. Fighting the effects of autumn and the colder weather doesn’t have to be a laborious task though, especially with the right products.
Here are my three picks from the Look Fantastic website to get buying for autumn, enjoy!
A good body exfoliator is key for soft skin all year round. We often neglect our bodies in winter due to being covered up with layer upon layer. This exfoliator is rich in oils and salt extracts to not only scrub away any dead skin cells, but also to nourish and moisture the skin. It’s important to exfoliate at least once a week in order for your skin to be dissolved of any dead skin as well as keeping tans (whether they are fake or real!) having a lasting longevity.
I love this lip balm. First of all, it smells delicious and it really does do the job of keeping lips soft and hydrated. I also really like this balm for the fact that it isn’t sticky or greasy and has a matte finish on the lips. The colder weather means that skin as well as lips, tends to get a lot drier, so it’s important to keep lips moisturised and supple especially if you’re planning on wearing a lipstick all day.
To keep skin squeaky clean, it’s essential to clear out clogged pores with a mud mask one or twice a week to release any congestion there may be. Skin can also because really dull and lifeless once the cold hits so it’s important to keep skin glowing, even when summer is long gone. The French sea clay in this mask is amazing for drawing out impurities which tend to build up from day to day living to reveal fresh, radiant skin.
These are my top picks for skincare this Autumn, what products do you love for this time of year?!
