L’Occitane Verdon

L’Occitane Verdon

As I’m a massive fan of the L’Occitane Verbena Shower Gel, I couldn’t wait to see what the new range of L’Occitane Verdon products had to offer. Moving away from the more traditional masculine birchwood, nutmeg and peppery scents used in their other collections, the L’Occitane Verdon range is a step (or a dive) into nautical aquatic notes.

First Impressions

My first impression was that the packaging is really striking, and there’s a real luxury unique feel to range in the flesh. But it is the products inside the stylish exterior that really impress. With a signature aquatic fragrance that runs throughout, each product has an intense and invigorating blend of lemon and peppermint notes. This makes the range fantastic for skin that lacks energy and needs a boost, or simply if you’re looking for a morning pick-me-up.

Combining premium skincare benefits with an amazing scent means that L’Occitane Verdon is fresh, invigorating skincare personified. I’ve been road testing the products for the last three weeks and these three products have cemented themselves into my routine.

L’Occitane Verdon Energy Moisturiser

For any skincare range to be considered truly great, it needs to centre around a high performance moisturiser, and this Energy Moisturiser doesn’t disappoint. Performing exactly as it says on the tin, it immediately hydrated my skin to give a real sensation of comfort, while the aquatic fragrance awakens your senses almost as much as your morning espresso!

L’Occitane Verdon Fresh Water Shower Gel

Likewise the Fresh Water Shower Gel gives you everything you need for an invigorating shower experience. Doubling as a shampoo, this daily essential left both my skin and my hair totally moisturised and with an energizing fragrance that lasts all day. It’s also great value for money, with a little product going a long way.

L’Occitane Verdon Eau de Toilette

By now you’ll have realised that I’m a fan of the L’Occitane Verdon fragrance, so the fact that this skincare range also features an Eau de Toilette is the icing on the cake. Ideal for day-to-day wear, but striking enough to be considered your ‘special occasion’ fragrance, Verdon Eau de Toilette rounds off the range perfectly.
