#LFBlooms Twitter Chat Round Up

WOW! It is safe to say that this month’s #LFBEAUTYBOX chat was the most successful ever, with hundreds of you participating on Thursday and chatting to Elemis, Balance Me, Bloom & Blossom, Monu TanWorx and Briogeo. This month’s Beauty Box theme was #LFBLOOMS, with all of the products having an organic and natural element to them.

For those of you who are new, we host bi-weekly ‘parties’ over on our Twitter account. They are your chance to speak with liked minded people; from up and coming beauty bloggers to representatives from key brands, as well giving you the chance to win some amazing giveaway prizes too!

In case you missed out this month, we’ve pulled together some of the top tips from the brands just for you.

#LFBLOOMS Beauty Tips

Question: Which beauty products would you recommend using as we move into Spring?
Answer:

Balance Me: Cleanse & Smooth Face Balm is a great oil based cleanser that adds hydration & buffs away dead skin. We also love  the Radiance Face Mask. It contains fruit acids which brighten the skin and ground walnuts shells remove dead skin cells.

Question: Which of your products do you think compliments your Don’t Despair, Repair hair mask best?
Answer:

Briogeo: We’d recommend using our Rosarco Oil post Mask. It locks in moisture and protects your hair from heat styling tools! We also like to use the Be Gentle, Be Kind Green Tea Shampoo before using the DDR Mask. It removes excess build-up.

Question: We would like to start building a faux glow in time for Spring, what would you recommend?
Answer:

MonuSkincare: Start with TANWORX Exfoliating Cream, 24 hrs before applying tan, to ensure a smooth surface to apply your tan. Follow with TANWORX Self Tanning Mousse in your chosen colour, allowing 8 hrs to develop before washing off. Finally – keep your glow by applying Tan Maximiser 1-2 days after your self-tan.

Question: If you had to pick one hero product from your collection which one would it be?
Answer:

Elemis: 1 of our Pro-Collagen Marine Creams is sold every 10 secs around the world so that is definitely a firm favourite!

Question: Would you recommend a cream, oil, or balm for very dry skin – we can’t choose between the formulas!
Answer:

Bloom and Blossom: All of the above! Oils and creams are great for larger surface areas, such as pregnancy bumps, whereas balms are better for smaller patches of dry skin – lips, elbows and bottoms!

If you love them, don’t forget to subscribe to the  Lookfantastic Beauty Box and follow us on Twitter so that you don’t miss out next time. Our next chat  ison Thursday 21st April  at 7pm with Origins, talking all about their new face masks. See you there!
