Urban Decay’s eye shadow palettes have become something of a cult phenomenon, with the Naked palette leading the way for a new era in make-up. Featuring a wide range of neutral shades like never before for flawless and completely effortless eye make-up.
The Naked 2 followed on from this beauty movement and brought it’s followers new shades for them to experiment and enjoy.
But now Urban Decay has caused yet another whirlwind of excitement with the Naked Basics Palette. Featuring 6 multipurpose shades all with a matte finish, making this the perfect palette for everyday make up.
Revealing the true beauty in being naked, the Basic palette keeps things minimal with shades that contour, line and highlight your eyes for the most natural beauty there can be. Richer than other mattes, the pigment of these eye shadows glide on supremely well for a smooth, luxe finish. Featuring a shade called Venus that has a slight demi-matte consistency, ideal for highlighting and adding dimension to your contours.
Even though this palette is small, it holds everything you need to create beautiful results.
Venus – A soft, off white demi-matte eye shadow that works great as a highlighting and brightening tool. Use on the inner corners of your eyes to open them up and under the arch of your eyebrow to highlight.
Foxy – A cream, bisque matte shade that lightly contours, allowing you to apply the second layer of dimension to your eyes. Work this shade from the outside and blend towards the middle.
Walk of Shame – A very light nude matte, working into the mid tones, this shade is slightly pink to highlight natural skin pigmentation.
Naked2 – A taupe matte eye shadow, this shade adds deeper tones to your eyes, contouring the sockets of your eyes and paving the way for a darker shade.
Faint – A warm, dusty brown matte eye shadow that’s perfect for a deep shade during the day. For evening looks this shade contours and works as the middle shade to give you a more dramatic finish.
Crave – The deepest darkest brown/black, this espresso shade deepens and exaggerates the beauty of your eyes. Blend from the outside into the middle tone for a flawless smokey eye.
