nthony Sosnick, creator of the premier men’s skincare line Anthony Logistics for Men, spent nearly ten years as partner and vice-president at Redico, a Michigan-based real estate development firm. He was a key player in expanding sports and entertainment venues and commercial real estate throughout America. Armed with this savvy business sense, invaluable work experience and fiery entrepreneurial spirit, Sosnick decided to venture into the personal care arena. As a grooming-conscious consumer, he had searched unsuccessfully for a full collection of men’s products in a market geared towards women and dismayed by the lack of choices, he set out to personally deliver a head-to-toe men’s grooming line, perfect for the modern man.

Anthony Logistics for Men was born after two years of extensive marketing and product research, hundreds of surveys, worldwide focus group studies, and over 500,000 distributed samples. With a meticulous approach towards perfection, Tony Sosnick developed the line based on direct feedback on the specific concerns and needs of men…right down to their preference for oversized tubes and fragrance free-blends.

Anthony Logistics for Men consists of numerous products, broken down into four core areas of face, shave, hair and body. Each product is designed with natural ingredients and essential oils that are specifically beneficial to men’s skin.

Over the next few months Anthony will give us his top tips as one of our leading male grooming experts.

Top tips: The perfect shave
1

Starting with a clean face is paramount to getting a close shave. Apply an appropriate facial cleanser to an already warm damp skin. Always use warm water as it helps soften the beard and prepares the skin for shaving. Hot water may dehydrate the skin so be sure to use warm water. The cleanser buffs away dirt and oil which allows your razor to glide more easily against the skin. Rinse off with warm water and leave wet.

Next, apply a thin layer of a pre-shave oil to help soften the beard and add more glide to the razor. A non-foaming shave cream or shave gel is then applied over the oil in an even, thin layer. Make sure you replace your razor after three or four uses to achieve the smoothest shave. If you have a heavier beard, change your razor more frequently.

Throughout your shave use your free hand to keep your skin taut and as flat as possible. This will help you avoid cuts and nicks and give you an even closer shave. Use short strokes starting at the side burns, cheeks and neck. Finish with your lip and chin so the shave cream or gel can soften these heavier whiskers.

With skincare, never skip cleansing the face before bedtime as pores open while you sleep so you want them to be super clean.

5

When cleansing an oily complexion stick to cleansers that are lightly foaming as they tend to be less drying and will not strip the skin of protective oils.

This should leave your skin feeling cleansed and relaxed.
