I have very curly hair that becomes frizzy and knotted as it dries. After a few hours I cant run my fingers through my hair without coming across knots. These products were incredible. The shampoo lathers up really well and washes out quickly and easily. The conditioner also smooths on really well and washes out to leave very soft and sqeaky clean hair. Its been 24 hours and my hair is still soft, bouncy and knot free. Its well worth the money.

I have just ordered my second pack of Shampoo and Conditioner in case the price goes back to normal soon !! I went really blonde in January and then the roots grew and I hated it, so went dark in early february. My hair was really suffering badly from abuse and this shampoo and conditioner has restored it. My hair is long and fine - but I have a lot of it and it is prone to being frizzy and rough. I was sceptical when I first used it as the shampoo really doesn't feel that special when compared to other quality shampoo (Kerestase is my regular brand) and when you put the conditioner on that doesn't feel 'all that great' either - but when you activate the conditioner with hot water - O MI GOD !!! Yout hair turns to pure silk :) Wonderful :) I love it. 20 stars from me :)

I bought the conditioner before it became discounted and was so excited when I tried it. It was a nice conditioner but for the price, I really expected more. It didn't condition my hair as well as the Redken range I had been using previously. Would not buy again (although it does look good on my bathroom shelf).

I purchased the special pack containing both shampoo and conditioner and anticipated a great product with exceptional results. How disappointed I was! The shampoo leaves my hair feeling like straw, and although the conditioner rinses out leaving the hair feeling smooth, as soon as it dries it reverts back to feeling rough, brittle, dry and generally awful. I am gutted that I wasted so much money on such a rubbish product - I used it for a couple of weeks to see if it improved with use, but even my hairdresser has noticed the change in condition of my hair and commented on how poor it was. I wish I could send it back for a refund or exchange for other products actually. My advice is don't waste your money. ps I have used other Alterna products and they are much better than this one!

As my hair is coloured and not in the best condition I as always on the lookout for miracle shampoo's and conditioners. After spotting this I couldn't resist sampling it for myself, for the price I thought it must be good! And it is good, makes my hair feel soft and shiny, but it isn't as good as the Keratase Reflections range and nowhere near worth the price tag. Pretty bottles though!

Have to say after reading the reviews after I had bought I was kicking myself, but it arrived yesterday and after a bad hair day of worzel crispyness....I washed and conditioned my hair with this. My hair dried all bouncy, shiny and fabulous, I feel like someone out of an advert and I had seriously seriously damaged hair after a manic bleaching session to get a colour out. Going to have to budget somewhere else so I can buy this now as I dont think I can ever go to any of the other products...thats just after one wash, cant wait to see the results in a few weeks....Jennifer Anniston hair here I come!!

This product is particularly good for those with thick, dry hair. Not always helpful for those with chemical damage. I would recommend this to people with naturally dry and/or long hair, particularly if you use colour. If your hair is chemically damaged, save your pennies and buy kerastase.

I have always had comments about the condition of my hair- without sounding big headed i am proud of it, i do colour it but look after it to the best of my ability. I bought this as i was felling a little flush this month- the results have been phenomenal. I didnt think that i could improve the condition of my hair but i was wrong. The set has brought the colour out in my hair and the condition is shiny and soft yet still manageable. I am over the moon with this product and will definately buy some more

I, too, was dying to try out these products but I didn't find anything special about them. I have tried loads of shampoos and conditioners including L'Oreal. Kerastase, Redken and Fudge and don't paricularly see what all the fuss is about these except for the price which is excessive. Maybe former reviews were before the other companies introduced their newer ranges. I have thick coloured/ highlighted hair and although the product wasn't awful, I would not be buying again.
