I have been using Alterna Hemp Seed Straightening Balm for the past two years and wouldn't go back to anything else. I have very large cury hair that can be very frizzy. This is the most controlling balm I have ever used that doesn't dry my hair out with use like other brands. This doesn't contain alcohol which drys curly hair out more to make the hair frizzy.

This is the best straightening balm I've ever used. Makes your hair lovely and soft after using straighteners on it, thoroughly recommend it but don't waste your money on the shampoo and conditioner, I was really disappointed with it.

I've tried many straightening products both cheap and expensive and was sceptical about the claims of this one. I can honestly say without doubt that this product is the only one I will be using from now on. I have long, fine corkscrew hair but there's lots of it. You need to use two 10p size dollops which feels like a lot and feels slimy when you run it through your hair but it really does work. It cuts down blowdrying time, leaves your hair really straight (it stays straight all day), your hair feels very soft and looks shiny and doesn't make your hair feel dry or greasy. Fab product!!

This produkt does not make my hair straight at all! It made my hair feeling hard and diffucult to manage. Do not waste your money on this. Does smells great though!!

This straightener did not work so well for my hair, it's stiff and 'glues' my hair. Not what I expected. But it smells good, yes.

I love this product! I'm shocked! My hair is straight, i just had to blowdry it, and this product doesn't make my hair feel fat or dirty. It's amazing!! I just got a lot of comments on my hair, people saying it looks greate :D
