This product does exactly what is says. Great protection from straightening irons and hold lasts ages. Well worth the extra money!

This product made my hair really stiff and smelt terrible, readly sickly sweet that doesn't go away until you wash it. I really like other Alterna products but wouldn't recommend this one. I bought it for protection against my straightening irons, but have used other products that are better (and cheaper).

great product works for me to get it straight and keep it that way . dont use to much its not needed and dont spray to much or near the scalp as it made mine itch..... once i learned to use it right it worked wonders. even took it to my hair dressers once when i wanted my hair dead straight and to last a few days ..... (it lasted 5) when i blow dry it myself it will go a little kinky at the ends after a day or two but i dont mind that .

I love alterna shampoos and conditioners, but this made my hair like straw. Was impossible to get a brush or even my hands through it. Don't buy it.
