I have been using GHD's original iron oil for quite some time and must admit I had been quite impressed with it. But this stuff? I HATE IT! It seems very wet on the hair, even when you spray it lightly. This means you get some almighty sizzling noises and steam coming off your hair û not good. It did not seem to assist me at all while straightening my hair with GHD irons, and actually seemed to make the whole process more difficult. I was left with a dull hair surface and not very impressively straightened hair (and I am the straightening iron master!). My hair genuinely feels drier with this product, not surprising when you look on the ingredients and see it has alcohol as one of the main ingredients. It does smell nicer than its predecessor, but that is about all it does. For my slightly wavy and fine hair, this stuff is a nightmare and I may well sell it on an internet auction site to get rid of it.

This spray is great and it smells gorgeous too! It goes a little sticky when sprayed on wet hair , but is great if you spray on dry hair when you are ready to use your straighteners. Really smoothes your hair, adds texture and finishes off ends and layers beautifully. Makes your hair stay straight for ages. This is my favourite straightening stuff so far- and I've tried loads!

I bought this when I bought my GHD straightners. What a let down. My hair went very dry and this made it sticky as well. In furture I'll stick to Spoil me by bedhead as this is fantastic and does as it says on the bottle. Save your money and dont buy this product it's rubbish.

well i brought this thinking it would leave my hair nice and shiney well it really was a dissopinment it left my hair feeling sticky and didnt make it shine

I have been using GHD products for quite some time, and i was slightly sceptic when i bought this product. Luckely i was pleasently surprised, it is good to my hair and the smell is nice. Anybody looking for a thermal protector, this is a good choice!

I used the original iron oil from the month it came out and loved it, this product is almost as good not as sticky but does this mean not as much thermal protection??? Nicer smell not so overpowering

This product is best used sparingly as if used too much can cause your hair to become sticky and hard to brush/style.
