After trying Redken's All Soft range (which is fantastic) thought I'd give this a try. Hair didn't feel stronger or more conditioned after using, in fact it felt dry and brittle, even when used in conjunction with a conditioner.

Try it! Its fairly expensive for the amount of applications you get but worth it. It left my hair smooth and less frizzy. Although beware of its smell, its not unpleasant - just slightly strange!

First, be aware, this is NOT a conditioner. You still need to condition after using this, perhaps even deeply condition. This treatment adds protein, to strengthen hair. I had Bio Ionics done, which went wrong and caused bends. The bends broke, and broke, and broke some more, until I had a 1 inch long fringe. However, when using Deep Fuel weekly, the breakage was very very reduced, and I truly believe I would have had to go short were it not for this product. I havent used it for a few months, and now I have breakage again, so the proof is there, that it works. The one star I left off is because I hate the smell. Its foul. Like rotten banana. YUK. Sort this out, Redken, and you have a 5 star product!

I have bleached hair which i overdye pink .It started breaking and I started looking like a witch. extreme fuel saved me!now i can carry on being pink with healthy looking hair .

Received from look fantastic yesterday, and tried last night. Impressed so far, I have noticed a difference already. And my hair is in pretty bad shape after bleaching. However you must condition after using it - its not a conditioner on it's own. An excellent product for people with poor condition hiar. If it wasn't for this kind of thing we would have to cut it all off.

This product is great amazing, I have bleached, straightened, curl, just general over processed hair and this really makes a difference. Althought I could do with some advice from other bleach blonde girls, is it me or does this turn your hair ever so slightly green??!!!

I am a hairdresser and this is one of the bestsellers in my salon as a lot of my clients like having blonde hair but they do not like how their hair feels when it has been bleached. as the name states it is extreme. just for use by people that have very damaged hair whatever you may have done to it. it must be very damaged and your hair must not be thick or coarse if it is try something else first. reason being this is very high in protein which is very good at rebuilding damaged hair and the protein in it will just make thick and coarse hair even thicker and may make it feel dry/brittle. if you do have thick hair that is damaged try the smooth range as that has alot of moisture in it which is good for thick hair and will not make it any thicker.

After I had a build up of black dye stripped from my hair andre-coloured it a light brown, my hair became very weak and brittle, coarse to the touch and an all round ugly mess! I usually use Kerastase green range when my hair gets this bad, but read about this Extreme range and decided to give them a go - and I'm very pleased I did! I didnt find the scent too unpleasant, it's more clinical than most, but not bad. I used it as directed, after the Extreme shampoo and before the Extreme conditioner. I can honestly say this range has transformed my hair after one application - I just hope it lasts!

It is a very good treatment. I have to say when I just used it with the conditioner I was not impressed. Then I found out the best way to max the result: I used extreme shampoo, then one tube of this, followed by extreme rescue force and extreme conditioner. The result was amazing! My have fine hair with extreme bleach to blonde. so if your hair is this type then redken is for you. P.S. I find kerastase not good for my hair type so save your money and invest in Redken ; p

I have a lot of hair quite fine and this just works a treat! as a treat for your hair,I really notice the difference after i've blowdryed my hair,much smoother and softer,have a go!

i usually use kerastase and thought i would give this product a try i am now converted and will buy redken in future, people say kerastase products are the best i dont think so.

I have a underactive Thyriod and what seems to get the brunt of it is my hair! This product, along with the Shampoo and Rescue Force, really helps get my hair looking good and shiny - my waves come back and I dont look like I have been in a open top car without a hat/hair band!!!!

the best product ever for damaged hair. i bleached my hair, then i got a perm, colored it (didnt like it) bleached and colored again. this product saves my hair every time i do something stupid :-)

This product saved me from having to cut all of my hair off following lightening my hair several shades. I have dry/wavy hair which I straighten daily. It's extremely important that you follow this treatment with some kind of deep conditioning afterwards in order to see dramatic results. I use Redken's Heavy Cream and follow that with conditioner. You won't find any suggestions like that on the packaging, though which is why I gave this 5 star product 4 stars. I didn't know to follow with a deep conditioner afterwards the first time I used it. My hair was noticeably stronger but it lacked softness. I guess I feel I didn't get my money's worth not knowing that it's even more effective in combination with other treatments.

I'm very pleased with this product. Its more lively... Just remember to use conditioner after using it, because this product open up the hair pore and the conditoner close them. This makes the product work on your hair... or it can look dry... tip from a hairdresser....

This product has saved my hair. After going from over processed blonde hair to brown and then back to blonde again my hair was extremely damaged, brittle and had an almost chewing gum feel to it when wet. I thought I would have to cut my hair very short, but this product brought it back to feeling like hair again. After reading reviews I used the extreme conditioner on my hair after the treatment. My hair is still dry but feels nowhere near as damaged as it did before using this product. I would definately recommend it and intend to carry on using it.
