The product is very effective but the result is not very light and you can feel greasy build-up in the hair.

Definitely not for long hair. I can imagine this being good for creating spiky short hair, but for creating a voluminous messy look in my hair it was the wrong product - it did lose the softness. Still, it smells great I'm sure for the right hair and look it would be great.

This is a fabulous product esp for short hair. Non-greasy, lots of body but not stiff and you only need a bit so it lasts ages.
