The fashion press seems to have something of a love-hate relationship with Mariah Carey - one minute she's being lauded for her bootylicious figure, the next she's slated for her dress sense.
However, we think they couldn't possibly have found fault with her look at this week's premiere of Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire in Los Angeles.
Mariah looked every inch the dazzling diva in a stunning black satin gown, nipped in pretty much everywhere to emphasise those curves!
However, it was her siren-style hair that caught our attention at lookfantastic HQ.
Volume had been added to the roots but her hair was smoothed down until about cheekbone-level, when it was teased out into gentle ringlets that were pure Hollywood.
We just love this vintage styling and it would be perfect for festive parties as an alternative to poker-straight locks.
