I have been using this in extension of my K-Pak regime after the Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor, which I have been using every week up to twice a week to help my long, fine, Nordic hair following a salon mishap that led to it being weakened to the point where it was thinned considerably at the tips and breaking off all over the place. After using my Reconstructor, I towel dry my hair and apply the Hydrator evenly through the lengths from about an inch below the roots, roughly half an inch above where I apply the Reconstructor. I leave it in for twice the amount of time I left the Reconstructor in, rinse thoroughly, and then dry as I normally would. I also use this every other day following the Conditioner, leaving it in for about five minutes. In the space of two weeks, my hair was stronger, more flexible, less prone to breakages, and felt softer, smoother and healthier. The shine was back and it is now a joy rather than a living hell to try and brush it out - especially after washing! My only cons about this product are the consistency, which is a bit thin and 'watery', leading to the mistaken belief that you need more than you do because you can't seem to 'feel' where you've gotten to when applying, and the smell, which is not as nice as that of the Reconstructor and is a bit weaker and more chemical when allowed to sit for a few minutes. Pricewise I'd say this is worth it, and I highly recommend this to those with dry, damaged, or dyed-and-dying hair.
