I have dry, frizz-prone ageing hair and this, and the matching shampoo, do a good job of cleaning and conditioning without weighing the hair down. They are conditioning enough to cope with my dry hair without making it greasy near the scalp - not something that many brands do well. They smell pleasant and won't compete with your perfume.

This Kérastase Age Premium Lait Substantif Conditioner is much better than the regular conditioners you buy at a beauty salon. It's definitely lighter than a masque but it restores some of the split ends and fly away hairs.
