KÉRASTASE MASQUINTENSE ÉPAIS - As good as nothing

I normally use Frederic Fekkai Protein Mask, however, I had decided to give Kerastase a go (cheaper than FF). What a mistake! I suffer from a very dry hair and have to use masks religiously. This mask is as good as nothing, Im sure I have had better results with a cheap high street stuff. It doesn't moisturise hair at all, is heavy without any de-frizzing effect. In overall it was a very disappointing and expensive experience.

I have used this treatment for my hair for a good 7 years now and never tried anything else. My hair is very long, thick and frizzy. It also tends to damage easily but this mask is the only one that makes my hair manageable, soft, shiny and tangle free. I actually apply it and sleep with overnight for maximum results. For added bonus, I also apply coconut oil to my hair the day before using it and leave it as a scalp treatment for the day. Once its washed off I apply Masquintense. Its the only thing that actually makes my hair manageable. In any case I highly recommend this treatment....

Does what it says!

It is great product for dry thick hair. I was hesitating to buy it because I though may be manufacturer meant afro hair by thick, but I decided to give it a try. (I have thick hair that are slightly wavy if left to dry naturally, which became very dry (and frizzy) because of my passion for coloring it and high-heat blow-drying to perfect poker straight look). I was slightly disappointed when I opened a jar and saw typical cheap conditioner glycerin-type texture, but I was wrong in my prejudice! It is a great moisturizer for my type of hair apparently. At least it does leave my hair feel like they are heavier and smoother. I use Sublimateur Jour and Nectar Thermique afterward for styling.I wouldn't recommend to use this mask too often though. Once a week may be taking turns with some other mask. It is quite heavy. Smell is terrible - intense and sweet, but that is the problem with Nutritive range. Hate the smell, love the products.

Smells heavenly and leaves your hair silky smooth. I do this treatment once a week and it always leaves my hair feeling and looking as if I just left the hair salon.

The best treatment on the market!

I have been using this product for several months now and I would never consider using anything else. It makes my long hair feel silky and frizz free!! I prefer to leave it on overnight and wash it out in the morning followed by styling.

Best intense conditioner!

This is the best intense conditioner I have used! I have spent lots of money trying out intense conditioners such as Redken Extreme and Aveda for my over heated blonde hair, but this one works the best! I left it on my hair for just over an hour and afterwards my hair looked in great condition. My friends even asked if I had been to the hairdressers! Highly recommend!

This conditoner is truly super my hair is coloured green and blue in section every 4 wks so its dry and snaps off. since using this conditoner 1yr i have managed to grow my hair 2" without it snapping. i leave the condi on for 30 mins. Try it. x

The one and only!

For me this is the holy grail of deep conditioners, I have dry frizzy hair and after using this it looks and feels very soft and shiny. I have tried most things out there but always come back to this as it works! The only negatives, in my opinion is it's quite strong smell which whilst isn't bad I wish it wasn't quite so perfumed. And also the price which is a bit steep to use it as often as I would like. Otherwise highly recommended.

This has been the greatest thing ever

One jar of this will last me about 3 mos. using it every other day. I have thick hair that tangles very easily. I have been using this product for one year now. My hair is always shiny and I am almost tangle free. If you could only pick one product, this would be the one for me.

They say always invest in good conditioner - this is the best! I have thick curly afro hair and this product makes it soft and manageable! After trying half a dozen other products I will never use anything else!

This product is simply fantastic. It left my long hair moisturised, soft, shiny and tangle free. It smells lovely and is a real treat. Definately the best masque I have used and beleive me I have tried quite a few!

My first kerastase Product

This was the first kerastase product i tried. I now own over 15 products. This condioner is by far the best there is. It left my hair perfect. well condioned, not weighed down, healthy and extraordinarly soft. Make sure to wash it out really really really well,...once applying it to towl dried hair it dries a bit so you have to make sure to wash it out otherwise your hair feels weird. I agree with the other reviewer, this is the holy grail of hair care.

this stuff does work really good! it makes ur hair really solf, and dont want to stop touching it! it also helps fly aways...if ur hair is like super super SUPER frizzy like u messed up ur hair like me most of the frizzys will be ghone and a few will be standing..but it works great over all!

A MUST HAVE PRODUCT!!

A couple of years ago my hair was dry and out of condition. My hairdresser recommended the Kerastase range and specifically the Masquintense Epais. For the first few weeks I was told to use this treatment as a regular conditioner every time I washed my hair. My hair is now in fantastic condition and my hairdresser always comments on how lovely it feels. Now I only use the mask once a week. A must have product that is well worth the price tag.

Good but caused irritation

This product worked brilliantly with my dry, overprocessed hair but unfortunately it irritated my scalp so much that I started getting spots in my hairline. I stopped using it and the irritation dissapeared, but returned again when I started using it. So, all in all a great product if it doesn't irritate your skin (or just put it through the the length of your hair).

i have nordic blonde hair wich i also dye blond, sometimes it get dry and frizzy after coloring. have tried almost everything out there, tigi, wella, sebastian and all sorts of redken treatments( all soft is my favorite and very good) but this one is the BEST, after just using one time, left on for an hour, my hair is great, soft and silky. thank kerastase+++

There is no other product like this!!!

I have spent obscene amounts of money in my quest for the perfect product to control and soften my very dry,coloured, thick, wavy, post menopausal hair and this product is the best that I have found by far. I use it along with Karatase satin bain 2. It leaves my hair feeling soft, looking shiny and healthy, Its absolutely fab. I would never use anything else now. Pricy but worth every penny.

This makes my medium/short hair soft and shiny. It erases frizz and you want to touch your hair all the time!! But in my country it cost 35 pounds! And that is quite a lot, but it was worth it!
