Better than Moroccan oil

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (125ml) feels much lighter than other oils, it tames my frizzy coarse hair, and smells nice. I wouldn't say it prevented split ends, but that would be a miracle. I think for this price it is one of the best options.

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (125ml) is a great product that is not heavy and soaks into the hair really well. It smells divine and doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy, an affordable price too.

Amazing oil for fine hair!

I tried this oil with a view that it may not be that good for my hair, as it is very fine and gets greasy quickly. I was totally wrong! This oil is light and has a gorgeous scent that lasts for a few days (I wash my hair every two to three days) My hair is medium in length and has a slight wave, and one and a half pumps through the lengths and ends is enough to tame the flyaways and nourish my hair after straightening, leaving it soft and shiny. I would definitely recommend this oil to anyone who is looking for a good all round oil that leaves hair looking and feeling amazing!

Soft and shiny locks

This oil was recommened to my dry and frizzy tresses by my hairdresser. It really does everything it says it will on the bottle, except I don't feel like it is improving the quality of my hair. It is probably protecting it and definitely works as a fix for hair that looks dry and dull, but I wish the effect would last all day (kind of a pipe-dream for any hair-product I guess). One of the few products I will buy again once empty as I usually insatiable ravage through new products convinced that there is a better one.

Just started using L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (125ml), and it's the best one I've tried so far. Hair is silky soft and has a lovely shine. Definitely recommend.

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (125ml) is a very good oil but I have had better. This one is for refreshment of the hairdo and to give more bounce to curls after a long day. I can highly recommend for daily wear.

Truly excellent product, makes my hair feel extremely soft and smooth without feeling weighed down. My husband keeps stealing it too. I have long medium thickness hair and my husband short fine hair.....so seems to work wonders on all hair types

Best thing for my hair

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil is the best thing that has ever happened to my hair. Before I found this, my hair was always frizzy, but now it's soft and smooth. The smell is a bonus. It is just great and I cannot live without it!

Loved the smell of L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (125ml) it's gentle, sweet, but not for everybody. Nice texture, I have enough from pressing the pump for full length hair, no oily hair.

A bit dissappointed

After it got recommended in one of the Lookfantastic newsletters as the best oil for fine hair, I decided to give it a try. I didn't like it. First reason is because it makes my hair look as if I didn't put anything in it after shampooing - no conditioner or anything. Hair is fluffy and looks uncared for. The second reason is that I really don't like the smell. This product is far inferior to both Moroccanoil Light and Kerastase Elixir Ultime. Would not recommend.

Exceptional

This L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil is amazing! My hair has never looked so good! My hair became very static this winter, so I followed some expert advice and gave my hair routine an overhaul. This is the final step in the routine and it's amazing. My hair looks glossy and smooth without being greasy or lanky. An exceptional product, buy it now!

Affordable, high quality oil

Oils are all the rage at the moment, thanks to the likes of Moroccanoil. There is of course, little oil in these hair oils as majority of the components is silicones, which contributes to the sleek, shiny slippery feeling you get. Also, it's more lightweight than just oil, so you don't get all greased up provided you are light handed. As for Mythic Oil, the first thing I notice is the scent - beautiful floral that isn't too strong, but you get a sexy whiff when you give it s swoosh, and swoosh you will get, if you know how to use it properly. I have shoulder length hair that is coloured, strong, wavy and porous. I personally like to use it on wet hair before I blow-dry as it leaves it crazy soft and silky with amazing shine and no frizz. The oils in this particular Mythic Oil is avocado oil and grapeseed oil, and they do a fine job in keeping my hair happy, considering it being porous it has a tendency to suck things up like a sponge. Lightweight and concentrated, I highly recommend this if you want to experiment with hair oil but am worried of splashing out silly money on Moroccanoil. Not full points because it is packed with silicones, which requires a proper weekly cleanse to ensure the hair isn't weighed down. But for smell, performance and price - I can't fault it.

Lovely

L'OREAL PROFESSIONNEL MYTHIC OIL is a great product, especially after curling hair as it takes away the frizz element left over after using a curling wand. Great as a overnight treatment or after washing hair. Smells great and isn't greasy.

Excellent product!

I was sent a sample of this product and loved it so bought a full size one. I have long fine highlighted hair which I wash, blow-dry and run the straighteners over most days so it can get dry at the ends but not with this. I have tried Moroccan oil and Kerastase Elixir but this is my favorite by far. It's light so doesn't weight my hair down or make it look greasy, and it smells lovely - like bluebells. It's the best oil by far, and it's the least expensive. My best buy so far this year!

Smells divine and great for dry ends.

Will buy again

I really like this product, it is light and smoothes my hair out; I add it to hair while wet and this helps stops the frizz. This oil is much lighter then ones form Kerastase, Macadamia or Redken (yes I'm oils obsessed, have them all), and I have to put 4-5 pumps on my wet hair (below shoulders); on the other side it is easier to apply and you won't overdose.

I swear by this product, it is absolutely amazing, normally serums and things make my hair flat and greasy but this is really light and smoothes my hair out, even though its been bleached it feels almost as soft as virgin hair! its not the cheapest of products but it is well worth the money and it lasts AGES

This is a great tool for my hair! Hair becomes smoother, obedient, pleasant to the touch. Most importantly, this oil does not leave a greasy feeling on the hair. It is as if disappears, leaving my hair in good condition

Good all rounder

Very nice luxury product, the oil is not over greasy and you can add to hair while wet and then at end of styling. Gives my curly hair a nice healthy shine and helps stops the frizz. Also has a nice subtle fresh smell. All in all I will be buying this product again, as it really works, the only draw back for me is that I have to put quite a lot of it on to quench my dry hair. And for that one reason I am rating it 4 stars.
