The Matsuzaki VDS 550D Scissor has high quality anti-corrosive stainless steel convex blades that have been hand produced to be super sharp. With an unmatched look and feel, the offset handle design provides an ergonomic feel and arm stress relief.

Durable, long lasting and reliable, the Matsuzaki VDS 550D Scissor has convex blades with hollow ground inner edges and a ball bearing pivot joint to ensure a super smooth feel. The adjustable ratchet tension system allows the stylist to consistently maintain perfect alignment between blades while the removable finger rest adds comfort, always keeping the hair stylist in mind.

Matsuzaki has been successfully able to combine old world quality, with the latest designs and cutting edge technology while still making each and every pair by hand as it was done 100 years ago. Each shear consists of 30 hand tempered layers of the highest quality vanadium alloy steels which keep a razor sharp edge far longer than any other “machine made” scissor.
