I decided to return to classic wet shaving, using badger brush, shaving soap and safety razor. This was my choice of razor, and it turned out to be a great one. The razor feels good in the hand, solid, hefty and balanced. And despite looking quite smooth, the black-finished handle gives good grip even when sopping wet. The whole design expresses real German precision. Most important though is the shave itself. The head has an ingeniously designed safety bar that provides a smooth, close and so far un-nicked shave! A lot of men approach safety razors with trepidation, worried about cuts. But so far, I've had no problems at all. This is a 'mild' razor and ideal for beginners, or people like me returning to 'proper' wet shaving after years of multi-blade cartridges. It looks super-stylish on the bathroom shelf, and at Look Fantastic's discount - the best I could find anywhere - I'd say it's a must-have.

This excellent razor gives a mild shave but very effective. Long and heavy barber pole handle allows you to control more especially if you have big hands. Also good looking too. I have been shaving with it for a month. I do not need any other razors. It is the best for me anymore.
