Usally my hear gets greasy after one day, but with this shampoo, it looks fresh for days. I recommend it to everyone with an oily scalp.

Regular shampoo

I've used Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo 3 or 4 times so far and I haven't felt any difference. For me, this is just like another regular shampoo. After you wash your hair, you can feel it is a bit more airy but in terms of oily hair, it didn't help me. I still have to wash my hair every other day.

My hairdresser suggested using the Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo (300ml) to rescue my oily scalp. I've been using it for a week, and it really surprises me. I have tried many oily scalp shampoos, even baby shampoos, and this shampoo really shed some light on my scalp problem. It smells fresh and like oranges whilst making my hair look shiny. Will see for another few weeks, but it definitely looks promising.

Great for oily hair

This is my second time buying the Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo (300ml) and I absolutely love it. I have fine hair that tends to get oily, and this shampoo makes it feel sqeaky clean and voluminous. I'm even able to leave my hair for an extra day or two before washing it again. Will definitely repurchase.

ok...still hoping for more

I read all the great reviews for this shampoo, plus was recommended it by a hairdresser friend of mine and was totally sold and so gave it a go. So far the results for me have been ok however I have yet to be as wow'ed as everyone else. I guess it has made my hair slightly less greasey but not to a major extend. I will however keep trying with it as Im hoping that after several washes the effects will increase. As to the smell, its very nice and it does lather up very well.

Didn't work for me...

I purchased the Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo (300ml) in the hope that it would cleanse my oily hair and scalp but unfortunately it was no more effective than my usual shampoo. It did not detox my scalp or remove any excess oil like the product description led me to believe. Will not purchase again as it is no different to cheaper brands.

Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo did not work for me at all! My hair was more oily after washing than before. My scalp became itchy and more oily after using it for a week. Very disappointed.

my oily hair was a disaster. this shampoo thoroughly cleans and leave it super clean. Lovely consistency - alike paste. The only thing I need and conditioner on my ends after.The best shampoo for oily haor so far.Highly recommended.

This shampoo works really well for me, with my oily roots. Still I have very dry lengths and this product leaves my hair balanced, soft and shiny. Super!

He has been raving since he started using it about how soft it leaves his hair, what a lovely smell it has and importantly how he now doesn't have to wash his hair every single day. Great for oily roots/dry ends

I've got oily roots and dry ends and everything I've tried so far has left my hair really dry as most shampoos are too strong and one brand even gave me dandruff and an dry itchy scalp! This is the best shampoo I've used for my combination hair, leaves it clean and soft, and I love the lemony smell, highly recommended.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter who suffers from dry scalp and very oily roots. It doesn't rectify the dandruff but it does loosen it so it can be rinsed away. Smells gorgeous. I have bought this again!

It´s a miracle

I love Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo. It really works on me. My scalp is very oily and my hair it´s so fine. I needed to wash my hair every day!!!. Since I´m using these my hair holds clean for 3 o more days!!!! My parnerts can´t believe!!!. I only wash my hair one time a week , sometimes twice with this shampoo and I´m changing one time these and the next with other shampoo. It ´s a really miracle on my hair, I´m very happy. Good product

This is the 2nd time I purchased this product. It is for my partner who has a rather oily scalp, he like using it and finds it helps contol the oil.

Great to discover Redken's effective oily hair shampoo which leaves the scalp feeling refreshed and soothed!

I love this shampoo because it takes off all the oil and sebo excess from my scalp, but keep my hair still soft and brilliant!

Works as promised

This stuff extends the period in which my hair looks good (i.e: not oily) from 24 to 48 hours. Great products - really controls oil without drying "ends" of hair.

Controls my oily hair.

This shampoo is really good. My fine nordic hair tends to get oily fast, but with this shampoo it doesn't happen nearly as fast as before. Not the greatest smell, but it doesn't stick to the hair all day at least.
