not as good as i hoped :(
I bought the Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder (11.4g) based on the other reviews here. I have terribly oily skin and my make up usually only lasts for a few hours before shine comes through, so I bought this hoping it would be the answer. Sadly, for me it didn't work. The finish is beautiful over foundation and my make up looked flawless when it was first applied, but an hour later the dreaded shine crept back. I tried to blot with the powder and I ended up a cakey mess. Not for me but others rave about this.

I LOVE this powder! In fact I have tried plenty - being a make up artist, I am always on the look out for good staple products - finishing powder being key to any make up kit. This is MUCH better than MAC Prep and Prime and many others on the market. This one is great for oily / combination skin and for all skin tones. It does not look powdery, and looks really smooth on the skin - does not accentuate lines / wrinkles and dry patches either if used sparingly. It keeps skin looking 'non greasy' all day! Definitely recommend. It is well worth the money and will last a long while. Packaging is also really funky!

Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder is good at absorbing excess oil on the T-zone. It provides a matte finish that lasts all day, even in heat and humidity. I highly recommend it.

Love this powder. I go through very oily phases and caking on more and more powder doesn’t do the trick really. I use special face washes etc. but some days I just look a shiny mess. Well, I love this, on my worst days I can re-apply as often as needed and you never see the product caking on the skin. I was very pale when I bought this and it was fabulous. Now i have quite a dark tan and still you don’t really note it on the skin. I actually use a brush as you get a softer coverage but the sponge is great for on the go and for those really shiny areas. Great for eyelids and under eyes too for those who don’t want to wear eye shadow or any eye make-up but find their mascara smudges due to the skin and its natural oils throughout the day. Shiny nose.. not for long! Works all over really. Smells quite yummy, feels very light and the case is practical and sturdy (as we know it’s a disaster when a compact cracks and mattifies the inside of your hand bag! Hasn’t clogged any of my pores as yet and I feel like there are less visible pores on my face too. Love this!

If you are pale like me and find that regular powder can often look orange or brown on your skin then this product will be perfect for you, it controls oil well and blends in easily with foundation.
Does what it says.
I took a chance with this product as it had no reviews, however I am pleasantly surprised. You only need a few dabs where you are shiny (e.g. forehead and nose) and your skin is back to looking normal and matte. I was a little worried at the colour of the product, that it may turn me a whiter shade of pale but it just blends in with the skin tone. It's a decent size compact, maybe a little big for carrying around if you have a small handbag; but great value as a little seems to go a very long way!
