A semi-permanent colour with Silver Enhancing Technology, Wella Color Fresh Silver Light Pearl Ash Blonde 8.81 refines grey/white hair. It’s UV protection formulation helps prevent unwanted yellow tones for a fabulous colour result and intensive shine.
Wella Color Fresh Silver Light Pearl Ash Blonde 8.81, which lasts up to 6 washes, helps you achieve gentle colour effects, refresh your permanent colour and level out uneven tones. With no ammonia or peroxide Color Fresh is gentle on your hair; it washes out evenly and completely and may be used directly after perming.
Directions of use:
- Wearing suitable gloves apply colour directly from the bottle.
- Apply colour evenly to your hair, working through lengths and ends to ensure even distribution.
- Comb through.
- Depending on the condition and desired colour intensity leave to develop for 5-20 minutes.
- A more intense colour result may be achieved with added heat and by increasing the development time.
- After development, emulsify with warm water and then rinse thoroughly.
- Style as usual.

Excellent. Brassy blonde be gone!
If you bleach your own hair, do your own highlights and sometimes don't leave the bleach on quite long enough and are left with orangey hues where you wanted white or ash blonde then this is the rescue remedy all you blondes out there need! I did my highlights at the weekend using a cap....I thought it had all lifted well and would be washing out the bleach to reveal beautiful clean blonde streaks through my hair, well I was wrong. The top 5 inches were lovely and clean but the last 10 inches were orangey and gross! So, anticipating that outcome I had bought Light Pearl Ash Blonde and immediately scrubbed it in to my hair, all over like shampoo and left it for 10 mins. When I washed it out and dried my hair I was pleasantly surprised to find my hair was predominantly ashy with some nice cool blonde streaks going through it, with the bare minimum flashes of orange.

This Wella Color Fresh Silver Light Pearl Ash Blonde eliminates yellow tones efficiently in my highlighted hair. 15 minutes is enough otherwise it turns a bit more grey then what I like, does give the hair amazing shine as well!

Get rid of yellow
I have used these colour fresh products at hairdressing college and think they are great for eliminating yellow tones in blonde hair. The toner works fast and is great for highlights as well as a full head of bleach. Great product and really cheap on LF!

I would recommend this product for blonde hair that's a bit brassy/yellow. It neutralises and tones the colour well, only a little handful is required therefore you can use the bottle about four times. My hair is a now a very light pearl ash blonde colour.

A great way to get rid of yellow tones!
I bleach my hair regularly, and I often get very yellow tones in my hair, which I don't like. When I use this product, I leave it in for about 25 minutes, and when I rinse it out my hair has no yellow tones left! It is a great product, works really fast and is very easy to use. The only thing is that I wish the effect of it would last a little bit longer.
