For loose, tumbling waves, wrap a larger section of hair around the barrel. For tighter waves, wrap smaller sections around the barrel. Hold the hair around the barrel for about 5—8 seconds depending on hair type. Once the tong has been released from the hair, let the wave set by leaving to cool before styling further. This will set the waves for long lasting style. For best results when styling, point the barrel downwards towards your shoulder and wrap the hair around the barrel in a spiral motion. Ensure the hair does not overlap as you wrap around the barrel. For a more tousled look run your fingers through the waves to break them up once the hair has cooled for really soft waves and natural movement.

Lovely waves
Really nice waves. Natural looking. Very happy with it. Only issue is that it’s not as great on shorter hair. I used it on long hair before I went for a hair cut.

Poor design
Difficult to use. Bad design as the screws on the side of the barrel got fast in my hair. Waste of money.

Not big waves
I have naturally curly hair so when I usually tong it it takes really well. These tongs didn’t do much to me hair at all. Not great, but then they weren’t expensive so probably got what I paid for.

Disappointed
So I love the big barrel and I love the effect it gives on my hair and I like that you can change the heat but the curls drop straight out of my hair even with a ton of hair spray! Gutted because it creates such a gorgeous look but didn’t last for me.

My go to
Love this. It's a big barrel so don't expect curls, but it gives my hair volume and shape in no time! My hair is armpit length, layered and fine. I use this to create pin curls, give the ends some shape or just to smooth out my texture. They have a choice of heat settings, aren't too heavy and heat up really quickly. Thoroughly recommend.

Awful product
You couldn't curl permed hair with these tongs. Even on the highest temperature and left for double the amount of time the instructions say (thank goodness for heat protection spray) my hair was flatter than a pancake. My hair normally curls very well, but not with these. Don't waste your money. And you will, because Look Fantastic won't allow the return of a product, even when it doesn't work as advertised.
