not as expected
1Quite underwhelmed with this product, with the description labelled as a serum foundation I was expecting this to be a lovely light dewy texture....it is not, it is far too heavy and mask like for my liking. I have tried applying with my fingertips and with the recommend brush but both gave me a finish i really disliked. Sorry wouldn't purchase again, I'm afraid this one is gonna sit in my makeup drawer . On the plus side look fantastic is a fantastic website with excellent customer service

Excellent foundation
5Exceptionally light on the skin, feels as though you aren't wearing any foundation. It hasn't upset my acne prone, sensitive skin. Very little product is needed for coverage, and where more cover is needed, the foundation builds well, without clogging. Lasts well throughout the day.

5After watching many many tutorials and swatches of this foundation I decided to buy it! LookFantastic had an amazing offer that weekend so it sure made it easier to buy it. Many of those tutorials said not to get near it if you've oily or combination skin. Well, I dont follow the hype, so I had to try it. Yes, if you are oily skin, it will be gone in a few hours but not if you apply the right primer just where it's needed. In my case, my T-zone is very oily with very large pores so I apply THE SMOOTHER primer by Maybelline that looks like a thick gel that I only apply on my nose and that is it! Shine free for hours and my skin looks great with BAREMINERALS BARESKIN PURE BRIGHTENING SERUM FOUNDATION.. I bought Pure buff, great on yellow undertone skin. It goes on like nothing I've ever tried before and all you need is a fluffy but firm kabuki brush, round or flat. 2 little drops for each side of my face and I'm done for the whole day. I totally recommend it!

Worth trying
3I don't like going anywhere barefaced EVER!!!!! So I needed something light to wear to do the school run followed by a workout that would not clog my pores like a regular foundation would. I had to buy 2 different colors (bare linen and bare natural) and add a drop of each to get the right shade for my skin. I have combination skin and this does need setting with powder and it has less than a medium coverage, if I try to build up to much it pulls and streaks on my skin. Works well for a few hours but wouldn't last all day. Great for what I need it for but wouldn't use it as an everyday reliable foundation.

Nice light foundation
4I like this foundation. A little goes a long way! I only use light foundations, as I don't want to put a lot on my face and would like for it to stay 'invisible'. I only need 2-3 drops for my entire face. I have used it with my fingers and this also works great! Easy to evenly blend. It's also buildable, but I don't need and want much, but is possible. I would recommend for people with normal or normal to oily skin; it leaves a silky matt finish which I like. Doesn't make me shine, although I do put a little translucent setting / finishing powder over it, but lasts a long time! I would't recommend for people with dry skin; I think it's too thin for them and makes dryness more visible. It also feels like my skin is hydrated like with a serum after I have applied this. I do use my own separate daycream underneath though, just because I prefer to and has more hydrating power and ingredients I like for my skin, but it's possible to wear alone.

brilliant product
5I tried this from a tester in a magazine and thought it was good so I bought a full-size one from Lookfantastic and have been so pleased. I have very sensitive skin which is prone to redness and this product does not irritate at all. It feels light on and you only need small amounts blended in. I use my fingers but it does recommend the special brush to apply it but you can use fingers no problem - just put it on a drop at a time. It makes my face look healthy and it has a nice matte texture once applied and I just dust some translucent powder over to finish, after a little concealer in any areas which need extra attention. I would recommend this product for sensitive skin and if you want a non-oily, lightweight foundation.

1I absolutely love bare minerals mineral foundation. Couldn't wait to try this one. Had read a lot of poor reviews but thought would give it a go. It is really the worst foundation I have ever tried. It sunk into every fine line and made my skin look so dry in certain areas. I just hated it. Will be going back to using the original bare minerals foundation again. If you are going to but this I use the fairly light in the mineral one and bought bare linen in this one and it was a perfect colour for me.

Nice Foundation
4I just tried this product for the first time today. I really like it!! I only occasionally wear foundation and when I do during the day I prefer very light, barely there coverage. This foundation is great for that!! I had to use two drops on each side of my face for very light coverage. It made my skin feel nice and soft and silky. The only thing I didn't like about the make up is that it clung to and sat on a small dry patch on my nose so I don't know how it would work for people with drier skin, or people who want full coverage. It lasted for the full day and didn't make my skin look too shiny either.
