Blogger of the Week #21

Hi I’m Claire, and I blog over at  I’ve been blogging since February 2013 and my blog is my little corner of the internet where I chat about all things beauty, fashion and lifestyle.  I’m excited and honoured to be Look Fantastic’s blogger of the week and I’m here sharing my top 5 hair and beauty picks for Christmas.

1. Burt’s Bees Radiance Healthy Glow Kit

I love Burt’s Bees as a brand – their lip balms and lip shimmers in particular are some of my favourites.  This set contains soap, body lotion, body wash, day cream, night cream, eye cream and a lip shimmer – everything you need for a healthy glow basically.  The kit would make a fabulous Christmas present for somebody as their first taster of the Burt’s Bees brand or would be equally loved by somebody who is already a fan I have no doubt.

2.  Benefit World Famous Neutrals Easiest Nudes Ever Eyeshadow Kit

I’m a huge fan of Benefit makeup – the quality of their products is top notch and I love their quirky packaging.  The world famous neutrals kit comes with four powder eyeshadows and two creaseless cream shadows, all in perfect nude shades.  Nude shadows are my favourite because they suit any eye colour and skin tone and are so easy to use to create either a casual daytime look or a more glamorous evening look.  I think this little kit would make a great gift for somebody who is just getting into makeup as it also comes with a handy hints and tips guide for how to wear the shadows.

3.  Real Techniques Travel Essentials Kit

Real Techniques is my favourite brand of brushes.  I own the core collection and they are hands down the best brushes I own.  They are fantastic quality, have really soft bristles and they’re also great value for money.  The travel essentials kit includes three of the most popular Real Techniques brushes – the essential foundation brush, multi-task brush and domed shadow brush – everything you need to be able to apply a full face of makeup on the go.  I would love to find this in my stocking on Christmas Day (hint hint!).

4.  Tigi S-Factor Diamond Dreams Tween Duo

I absolutely love the Tigi S-Factor range of haircare.  The S-Factor products leave my hair feeling soft, healthy and nourished and the scent is absolutely gorgeous.  I haven’t tried the Diamond Dreams range of products, but this luxury set comprises a shampoo and conditioner infused with diamonds, champagne, cashmere and pearls.  You can’t get more luxe than that! This would be a fabulous gift for anyone who, like me, is on a quest for luscious locks.

5.  Nails Inc Nail Polish Diary

Anyone who reads my blog will know that I am a complete nail polish addict, so I had to include this as one of my top Christmas picks.  The Nails Inc Nail Polish Diary includes 12 nail polishes (one for each month of the year) in a range of gorgeous, wearable colours and special effects.  The kit is actually worth over £138 so is also amazing value.  Nails Inc make great quality nail polishes which have a smooth and glossy formula, come in beautiful bright shades and remain chip free for days at a time.  This set would make a great gift for any nail polish lover like me.

And that completes my top five Christmas gifts.  I had a real hard time narrowing my selection down as there are so many lovely gift sets available in the run up to Christmas.   I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope this helps give you some ideas for Christmas gifts for the beauty lovers in your lives.
