Hair Trends : Glamour Wave

We’re very excited to announce that last week we met up with the fabulous Danielle Peazer at the ghd salon in London to re-create some beautiful hair trends using the wonderful range of ghd curves. First up, the Glamour Wave, the perfect look for a classy night out. Have a scroll through our easy step-by-step guide by ghd and Danielle Peazer so you, too can get this A-List look from the comfort of your own home.

STEP ONE: For the perfect base lightly mist ghd curl hold spray onto the hair and smooth through. (Top tip: Don’t wet the hair; a fine, light mist is all that is required.)

Step 1 : Danielle Peazer ghd

STEP TWO: Starting at the side of the hair take a 2cm section. Using the ghd curve soft curl tong, wrap the hair flatly, like a ribbon, along the length of the tong and secure the ends by closing the clamp. Leave for 5-8 seconds then release the hair into the palm of your hand. Allow the section to cool briefly.

STEP THREE: Repeat this curling process around the head until you reach the top section.

STEP FOUR: At the top section, begin curling at the eye line instead of starting at the root- this will give a more modern finish to the look.

STEP FIVE: Allow the curls to cool. Dress the hair using the ghd paddle brush- take small sections and brush the hair from root to tip. Once brushed through start to shape the hair using the brush and push into the waves.

STEP SIX: Spray with ghd final shine spray and ghd final fix hairspray.

Major fan of scented candles, Make Up brushes and Highlighter. I’m always on the hunt for those Holy Grail products and my dressing table is covered in more beauty products than I like to admit. As an adopted Northerner originally from Brighton, I spend most my days wondering what all this rain is about. My hair isn’t grateful for the move. Currently loving: NIOD Photography Fluid
