REVIEW: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour

So, we have all heard about the magic of the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant and its miracle formula that re-hydrates even the most thirsty skin complaints: fact. Knowing only about the cult following of this product, I realised I was not so familiar with the rest of the Eight Hour range so, determined as ever, I decided I had to give them a go and see if this world renowned formula delivers across the entire range. I have to say I was not disappointed – au contraire!

A self confessed product addict, I am always willing to try a new product in the name of achieving a clearer, smoother complexion. In my quest to find the perfect skin, I have been using the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Face Moisturiser and Body Treatment for the last month and I am happy to say that my skin has been left feeling hydrated and silky soft to touch, which is not something I get to say very often!

Both of these beautiful products share the same rich, thick texture and endearing fresh scent that wraps skin in moisture to leave the face and body soft and ready to deal with whatever the day throws at it. Unfortunately, I suffer from dry skin, so I found the thick consistency perfect to deeply replenish and intensely moisturise my skin – and as if that wasn’t enough, all their products contain SPF, which is essential to help slow down the age process (none of us are getting any younger, now are we?).

Used daily and religiously, these products can make a noticeable difference to your complexion –  I am definitely hooked and would recommend anyone with dehydrated skin to take the plunge and bid it farewell to  dry skin. You will not be disappointed!

Major fan of scented candles, Make Up brushes and Highlighter. I’m always on the hunt for those Holy Grail products and my dressing table is covered in more beauty products than I like to admit. As an adopted Northerner originally from Brighton, I spend most my days wondering what all this rain is about. My hair isn’t grateful for the move. Currently loving: NIOD Photography Fluid
