Here are some of our favourite looks from the biggest red carpet event of the year.

With much attention being spent on the dresses going along the red carpet, the beauty side of things was kept relatively classic with red lips and bronzed eyes being a sturdy favourite amongst a listers.
Stars like Guiliana Rancic, Kristen Stewart and Kelly Osbourne all opted for this look with Kelly choosing a more coral red lip than Guiliana’s siren red.

There were a few distinct styles taking over at the Oscars including textured pixie crops, Hollywood wave side sweeps, romantic up do’s and the loose curls up do.

The Side Sweep – Take it all on one shoulder with a style championed by Jessica Chastain and Reese Witherspoon, illustrating that old Hollywood glamour is far from dying off. Keep this style sleek with big bounce for a decadent, classic finish.

Major fan of scented candles, Make Up brushes and Highlighter. I’m always on the hunt for those Holy Grail products and my dressing table is covered in more beauty products than I like to admit. As an adopted Northerner originally from Brighton, I spend most my days wondering what all this rain is about. My hair isn’t grateful for the move. Currently loving: NIOD Photography Fluid
