The new autumn skincare stars your beauty routine needs

Autumn is officially here, and with the changing seasons comes a wave of new beauty products designed to hydrate, illuminate and protected.

We have selected our edit of the best new autumn skincare products; perfect for the drop in temperature to keep your complexion healthy and glowing.

Paula’s Choice Charcoal Gel Mask & Peptide Booster

We couldn’t select one or the other of these products in our new autumn skincare line-up. Both are excellent, both are essential for the changing temperature.

The Charcoal Gel Mask is a nourishing gel formulation, so although it clears impurities and absorbs excess oil, it doesn’t feel drying. People often switch to super-rich and luxe skincare products during autumn, which are sometimes too heavy for their skin. Don’t forget you also need to purify and clarify, and this mask is perfect without disrupting your skin’s hydration balance.

Secondly, the Peptide Booster is brilliant for adding into your moisturiser for a boost of moisture without feeling heavy or sticky on the skin. It’s rich in amino-acids, which combat dryness, dullness and discolouration.

Gallinée Prebiotic Face Vinegar

Stick with us on this one, and don’t be put off by its name. The Gallinée Face Vinegar is enriched with a blend of pre and postbiotics, which work to restore a healthy bacteria equilibrium on the skin.

As the temperature drops, skin can work harder to produce oils that keep cells hydrated, which unfortunately can result in breakouts. By keeping your complexion topped up with prebiotics, you’ll avoid the problem altogether. Plus, it also works as a gentle exfoliant thanks to its blend of acetic acid, which melts impurities and kills harmful acne-causing bacteria.

Vichy Liftactiv Hyalu Mask

Keep the skin plumped-up and well moisturised with Vichy’s newest launch: their Liftactiv Hyalu Mask.

Rich in both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid molecules, the mask immediately delivers moisture into the skin without feeling heavy or causing excess oil.

The best part is, it only needs to be kept on for 5 minutes; perfect for when your complexion needs a brightening boost but you don’t have much time on your hands.

Pixi Retinol Tonic

If you’re a big fan of Pixi’s cult Glow Tonic, you will fall head over heels for their anti-ageing version: the Retinol Tonic.

A pale violet colour, the liquid elixir contains time-release retinol, which helps to slowly deliver the benefits of retinol without its traditional aggravating effects. It also contains soothing jasmine flower, peptides and antioxidants to soothe and help prevent any sign of irritation or redness.

After continual use, you will notice a difference in the smoothness, clarity and tone of your complexion.

NIP + FAB Glycolic Jelly Mask

There’s nothing we don’t love about NIP + FAB’s new Glycolic Jelly Mask. Rich in AHA’s (glycolic and lactic acids) the mask helps to unclog blocked pores and exfoliate dead skin cells without the need for harsh scrubbing.

Even though it’s a powerful glycolic face mask, the formula is a jelly-like texture, which is not only super cooling when applied onto the skin, but also helps to hydrate, soothe and protect. Rich in Vitamin B3 and hyaluronic acid, the mask helps to plump-up and get you glowing.

EOS Crystal Vanilla Orchid Lip Balm

Don’t forget that your lips need just as much care as your complexion, especially during the colder, autumn months.

The new Crystal Lip Balm from EOS has a soothing vanilla scent, and is also rich in shea butter, coconut and avocado oils to provide continual moisture and hydration.

As it’s a clear formulation, it’s great for those who don’t like the feel of a traditional balm or creamy lip product.
