4 Halloween Nail Ideas

Mystical Mermaid

Start with a base of gorgeous shimmering green, La Dolce Vita. It’s luxurious GELOLOGY formula means 1 quick coat is enough!

Once it’s dry, grab Fortune Teller and start adding in some magical holographic glitter across the middle of your nails.

Finish off with… more glitter! Swipe on Risky Business for a gorgeous colour-shifting effect and plenty of chunky blue glitter!

Wicked Witch

Apply one good clean coat of La Dolce Vita then seal with a your favourite top coat.

Once it’s completely dry (usually this should take about 20 minutes) use a piece of sticky tape to mark off a section of your nail.

You could place tape across the bottom ¾ of your nail and leave the tips free to create a wicked French mani, or tape along both sides to create nail-lengthening stripes down the centre, ore even make a triangle for a witches hat like we did.

Apply some top coat or nail glue to the exposed part of your nail and quickly pour over a generous portion of Starry Night black nail glitter.

Whip off the tape for a super slick textured design.

Vampy Chic

Kick off with two coats of Pretty In Putty for a perfectly dusty off-off white base.

Place a few drops of Raising The Barre on to a piece of paper and use a dotting tool (or the end of a hair grip will work too! ) to dip in to the blood-red polish and draw shining drips along the length of your nail.

Keep on dotting and dragging to build up the colour and texture.

Spooky Kitten

Create a deep dark base with two coats of Rain Check – though any dark crème shade would work for this one, whatever works with your costume.

Take a dip into the prettiest rose gold Goal Digger and use a fine nail art brush to carefully draw an arc across the tip of your nail.

Add on two little triangles for ears and you’re done!

Make Up Specialist

Major fan of scented candles, Make Up brushes and Highlighter. I’m always on the hunt for those Holy Grail products and my dressing table is covered in more beauty products than I like to admit. As an adopted Northerner originally from Brighton, I spend most my days wondering what all this rain is about. My hair isn’t grateful for the move. Currently loving: NIOD Photography Fluid
