Caroline Burstein and Michael Collis founded Molton Brown in 1971 on London’s famous Molton Street. Originally a haircare brand, Molton Brown's products were formulated in the basement of the founders' salon and sold to celebrity clientele.

Quickly gaining attention from renowned stylists who created countless covers for the likes of Vogue magazine, the popularity of Molton Brown's products soon soared. The duo's products are all cruelty-free and are sourced from botanicals.

In 1984, Molton Brown branched out to create a line of luxury fragrances that are still popular today. The original Orange and Bergamot fragrance is a cult classic, and fragrances created in the 1990s and 2000s by legendary perfumer Jacques Chabert, such as the iconic Black Pepper, are also fan-favourites.

In 2019, the brand’s innovation continued with a collection of Eau de Parfum and Toilette fragrances. Popular scents include the likes of Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel EDT, and the Tobacco Absolute EDT, which are available in pioneering refillable cases.
