Founded by Julia Wills and Alexander Kummerow in 2011 in their Seattle kitchen, Herbivore brings you products that are safe, non-toxic, and highly effective. We believe in tangible results you can see and feel, and we believe in the power of nature to bring these results. CREATED WITH Natural ingredients, plant-based food-grade cold-pressed oils, steam distilled therapeutic-grade essential oils, GMO-free soy wax, recyclable and reusable packaging, many certified organic ingredients. OUR SUSTAINABILITY CORE VALUES As an ultra clean, 100% synthetic-free brand, our core values are to make our products, ingredients, and packaging as gentle on the planet as they are on our bodies. By avoiding synthetic ingredients, we ensure that our products are as biocompatible as possible. To do that, we package primarily in glass and paper, using recyclable plastic only where absolutely necessary. Always trying to reduce our footprint further, we are looking into ways to reduce and 100% eliminate all virgin plastic from our packaging by 2021. Giving back to sustainable causes is also a priority of ours. We have raised funds for WIRES in support of Australian wildlife, Clear Blue Sea in support of ocean cleanup, and Trees for the Future to plant trees in an effort to help reverse climate change. It’s going to take all of us coming together to make a difference for this world – brands must be a force for good and lead the way.
