Rejuvenate your brown hair with the Christophe Robin Shade Variation Mask in 'Ash Brown', a nourishing hair mask that works to restore the warmth back into colour-treated, highlighted or naturally brunette hair.
Neutralising the effects of oxidation, the deeply nourishing mask helps to eliminate unwanted red and mahogany tones, replenishing warmth and radiance back into dull brown hair. Creamy and nourishing, the colour care treatment contains Buriti Oil to help revive vibrancy, and Almond Butter to nourish and protect. After use, brunette hair looks rich and healthy.
Free from parabens, silicone, oxidant and ammonia.
Apply the shade variation care to clean, towel-dried hair from root to tip. Lather by massaging into hair and leave in for 5-30 minutes, depending on the desired intensity. Rinse thoroughly. Tones are removed after 3-5 washes
Warning: Make sure you only leave the product in for 5 minutes the first time you use it to test how the pigments interact with your hair. Carry out a patch test 48 hours before application to avoid any allergic reactions. Wash hands immediately after application to avoid staining your nails. Avoid contact with eyes.

Could be a great product but...
After doing a tonne of research on how to get the red tones out of my hair I decided to try this one. So here's the thing, I have brunette hair with balayage. This absolutely did make the browns ashy and took the redness out HOWEVER the blonde ends of my hair especially around the front went bluey green. The packs are small so I bought two, and needed both to cover all my hair. If you have short, brown hair this could be great. But don't bother if you have any highlights at all.

Didn’t make a difference
Bought this in the hopes of toning my faded out balyage and you can’t tell a single difference on a single hair despite following instructions. Dissatisfied

I tried this for the first time to tune down the highlight and happy that it works although it is abit messy. Hopefully it will not fade quickly.

I have used various toning products and this is my favourite. Not damaging, tones my grown out blonde from an off orange to a lovely warm brown

Pleasantly surprised
Having grown out a bad stage of orange blonde, this really helped even out the overly reddish tones and blended the root area with the ends. Reasonably priced and effective

Great
I have dark hair with balayage and this is actually better than a salon toner in my opinion, cool’s down the warm parts of my hair I will continue to use this it’s worth it

More subtle than expected
I’ve used this mask twice now, the first time I left it on for about 20 minutes and the effect was super subtle. It left my hair feeling lovely and soft, but it didn’t do much to neutralize the brassiness of my dyed brown hair. The second time I left it on for closer to 35 minutes, and although it was slightly more effective in toning down brassy tones, the result wasn’t as dramatic as I had hoped. Not sure I would repurchase, I’ll try some other options first.
