A scent inspired by creator Albert Fouquet’s time on the French Riviera. Surrounded by members of the European elite, Fouquet filled his days with sailing on the blue and his evenings at exclusive parties. Cap D’Antibes opens with fresh top notes of Birch and Mint Leaves, which then mingle with an aromatic, warm heart of Cinnamon before melting into a base made up of Cedar, Incense and Vanilla. Housed within a sleek, midnight blue bottle that mirrors the azure oceans of Southern France.

Creator Albert Fouquet was inspired to produce Egypt while visiting a childhood friend in 1935. Surrounded by rich Ancient Egyptian history in the birthplace of perfume, Fouquet began to craft one of the key scents in his exclusive and personal collection. The fragrance opens with a fruity-floral mix of Lavender and Lemon, before bursting into an aromatic heart of Cardamom and Nutmeg. Encapsulating the glamour and beauty of holiday romance, the fragrance settles on a magnetic dry down of Tobacco and Vetiver.

Eight & Bob creator Albert Fouquet gifted the very first Champs de Provence EDP to his Italian friends Alessandro and Chiara, who had to leave their beloved Provence for the far-away Philippines. Its scent captures perfectly the fresh, green fields and blossoming flowers of the French countryside. Fruity top notes of Orange and Pear give way to a floral heart of Absolute Rose and Orange Blossom before settling on an intoxicating mossy base. Housed within a deep green bottle with a silver-toned cap.

Smells lush!
So I am looking at male fragrance as gift for my husband, and came across this. As there were no reviews I went on their official site to dig a little deeper. Turns out this is a niche perfume maker, not just any commercial perfumes, which was a really good sign! My husband and I really loved the original one, it’s citrusy, warm and woody. It smells so good I wasn’t able to stop sniffing! The scent (1-2 sprays) is enough to last over 12 hours but even initially it doesn’t come across overwhelming. Recommended if you’re looking for a classy male fragrance!
