Fantastic bundle of happiness!
I'd been nagging my husband for a new straightner for a year or so. My GHDs were 10 years ol! Still going strong, working as well as the day I got them. I'd been into a few Salons looking at the new GHDs out, thought it over and decided to stick to what I know. The straighteners are a dream, much smoother and rounder making it easier to grip while turning. They feel smooth but still steady to hold, I felt confident using it. My hair was smoother, shinier and so soft. It also only took one go rather than the 2-3 I had to do with my old ones. I know realise how much the older ones dragged my hair compared to the IV. The swivel cord is much smoother, it doesn't twist the wire at all, making it so easy to put them down without having to flick them straight. I am in LOVE with them. The hairdryer. I have a branded one beginning with T. After using the GHD dryer, I did not need to straighten with the straightner it did take me a while the first couple of times to get used to it and use the brush to maximise the effect. I have a short pixie cut, so fizzy hair is a no no. Using the brush, it smooths it straight with a slight flick. The brush makes it easy to pick up the section of hair with ease. It has made styling my hair so easy. The condition of my hair is so much better. It lasts 2 days too. I typically wash every 2-3 days, I used to air dry and then tackle the awkward way my hair dried. Now I look forward to doing it. The clips are a god send, having short hair they usually slide out with movement but these stay in place. The also don't pull on the roots, I have a sensitive scalp so that's really important. This kit is a bargain, you literally can not get better than GHDs customer service and after care is fantastic. I have peace of mind when using these as I know they are quality products. As for my old straighter, my 13 year old daughter is in love with them. They have plenty of life left and she's now joined the GHD club!
