Broke after 2.5 years. Remington better.

I researched these Original stylers carefully for my daughter’s Christmas present. They stopped heating up and beep repeatedly after 2.5 years, 6 months out of warranty. GHD will not replace or repair, offering a derisory 15% off a new pair. My old, much cheaper Remingtons are still working well and style as well as the GHD. Disappointing.
