Be camera ready with Hylamide's Photography Foundation in 'Transparent', a non-tinted, skin-perfecting formula designed to improve skin's appearance for the camera lens whilst blurring away imperfections in real life. Wear alone for a sheer, dewy finish, or use as a primer beneath your normal foundation for an enhanced, illuminated complexion.
Infused with nano-fractions of silica-based prisms that create light confusion for a blurred effect, the low-coverage foundation helps immediately correct tone whilst camouflaging fine lines and pores, and expertly highlights your best features for a show stopping look through the lens. Its oil-free biotechnology keeps skin comfortably hydrated for 48 hours, and a host of prismatic hue correctors counteract unwanted tones whilst creating angular shadows for definition on camera. Skin looks flawless on photographs and perfectly balanced in real life.
Suitable for all skin tones.
- Apply after the last step in your skincare routine (moisturising).
- Wear alone or as a primer before usual makeup.

works for me
I love this. Use it as a base and it seems to even out the "light" that is reflected back and texture is more homogeneous, even. On its own I wouldn't use it - too shiny, unnatural looking glow - and I agree with the latest review - it's ashy by itself. You need a good natural skin tone to carry it off by itself. And if I did I wouldn't be using filter products. I have better results with this than with the other Deciem product - Hylomide. I tried both. This wins. I do mix my own foundation. Add pigments of colour to match the skintone and maybe that's why the results are different. Just different pigment/base interaction. It's very hit and miss with makeup and if you find their foundation matching your skin tone well, this product doesn't really add much to it and it isn't cheap by a long shot. "Ordinary" (same company) foundation is good and it sits well on the skin. That's my experience.

diasappointed
I had high hopes for this product since I like to use subtle/natural make-up and also liked the idea that it might improve pictures taken with phones etc. I've tried it with different tinted moisturisers, light foundations and by itself. Unfortunately it always leaves me looking a bit unwell with an ashy, chalky finish. Perhaps just not for me or my skin tone (neutral, fairish but with a bit of tan) - so I won't be trying it again.

Photography foundation
Arrived promptly, really did work! Used it over my foundation for our daughters wedding, photos were much improved seemed to filter out lines and blemishes. Definitely will buy again

Go for the NIOD Photography fluid instead
Having read about the hype of photography foundations for that perfect selfie, I bought this on a whim. The packaging took me a while to figure it was a screw top lid which was cleverly disguised. The foundation is an off white colour which disappears into the skin but I haven't seen a marked difference in my skin with this product. The NIOD equivalent works brilliantly, this is just a glorified primer.

So far, I am loving it.
I have only been using this product recently and so far I am really happy with it. It is so easy to apply and it gives my complexion a wonderful glow like shimmer. After applying I use my powder foundation and I am ready to go. I have been looking for and trying so many products that will even out my skin before applying powder foundation, as I have gotten enlarged pores on my nose and my cheeks around my nose due to ageing, and this does exactly what I have been searching for. I can honestly say that I will be buying this again and to make it even better is the price, which is so affordable. I am loving it.
