Surprised by the results
5I wanted to try a clarifying shampoo after seeing online videos Of build up from using supermarket shampoos. I used this shampoo the day before having my hair coloured with a blonde toner and the colour turned out really nice - better than usual and my hairdresser noticed the same difference. I recommend using once or maybe twice a week and my hairdresser advised me not to use it for a few weeks after having my hair done as it may strip the colour.

Great clarifyer
5I have very fine, bleached hair and most clarifying shampoos leave it extremely dry and tangled. This shampoo is great, its moisturising but strips out excess products, I need to wash my hair daily due to my fitness regime and I use this at least once a week, great shampoo!

Great product, great system
5I have some experience with the Joico K-PAK range. The products are really well designed, and do what they claim they do, unlike a lot of stuff that is out there. Protein products will work only if there is enough protein of a specific type in the formula - which Joico K-PAK has; therefore you get results, not just wasted money. This shampoo is not for everyday use, I would recommend once a week. It really strips all buildup, especially mineral buildup, from the hair. However, it is quite drying to me, so and intense hydrating mask or some kind of pH adjuster is needed afterwards. A good idea that I do sometimes is to use a coconut oil mask before shampooing, as coconut oil is an efficient chelating ingredient. After that you shampoo with this product - and your hair is left completely stripped of any gunk and minerals. The color is shinier and more true!

Helped my scalp!
5I use the Joico daily care shampoo but was finding I still suffering with a flaky scalp. I spoke to my hairdresser and she suggested using the clarifying shampoo as well and I have already seen a difference in 2 weeks!

5First of all, I’d like to say that Joiko K-pack system is absolutely amazing! I have no idea why there is so little information about it. My hair is thin, lightweight and frizzy (like babyhair) with oily roots (I wash my hair everyday). I normally use the whole system (steps 1,2,3,4) once a week and it makes my hair shiny and pleasantly heavy. Simply gorgeous! And I continue buying these products again and again. Joiko K-pack products are the part of hair reconstruction treatment that you can get in some hair studios (cost about 60 gbp). The treatment includes 4 steps: 1. Joico K-pack clarifying shampoo (opens hair cuticles and removes mineral deposits, clorine and styling product buildup). 2. Joico K-pack Cuticle sealer ph neutralizer (smooths and tightens the cuticle to lock in curl and colour). Don’t recommended to apply on head’s skin. 3. Joico K-pack Deep penetrating reconstructor for damaged hair (award-winning intensive protein reconstructor which rebuilds and improves the structure of hair. Includes Quadramine complex (blend of low molecular weight and size proteins), 19 essential amino acids. 4. Joico K-pack Intence hydrator. Restores moisture to overly dry, damaged hair. Products 2,3,4 should be applied after hair is towel-blotted (thoroughly), including head’s skin. U can use steps 1,2 for daily use and steps 3,4 – once or twice a week. U have to do steps 1,2,3,4 (as intense treatment regimen) or just 1,4 (for dry hair).

Okay product
3Good at removing buildup Quite drying, hard to massage into scalp Didn’t find that it removed minerals from my hair as I still found my hair had a green tinge from hard water.

Superb
5As a regular swimmer and user of silicone products, I was looking for a shampoo that would remove any of the nasties but not make my hair feel like straw. So many clarifying shampoos are very drying but this made my hair very soft and manageable! Terrific!
